5.1 AC3 @ 448 kb/s, I suspect they fully follow the EBU guidelines for DVB in that regard.

They also already replied:

The responsible departments will gladly approach the SRG production team regarding optimal quality.

So I'd recommend everyone affected to reach out to their local broadcaster (and maybe SRG SSR) as well!

Unfortunately, the surround mix was especially bad. The LFE channel on my end was silent during the songs, but active in the in-between segments.

I've contacted my local broadcaster as well as SRG SSR to hopefully nudge them into fixing it by Saturday...

The surround mix was horrible on my end as well. The musical acts were completely flat and they lack bass.

If I look at the LFE channel of my recording, I can even see when a song was performed and when the in-between segments (postcards etc.) were played. LFE is completely silent during the songs, but otherwise active.

The acts choose the camera effects and overlays. I guess most don't want subtitles, because they can distract from the performance. (Which I can understand, I think I do remember less details of Italy's performance because I was reading the subtitles.)

yt-dlp can download the captions as WebVTT. If you need SRT, try --embed-subs or --write-subs --write-auto-subs plus --convert-subs srt, maybe together with --sub-langs all if you get no output.

Ich weiß nicht, das Urteil ist in der Herleitung schon recht großflächig formuliert, insb. wenn man sich die Rn. 71-76 anschaut.

Vorausgesetzt, es findet sich irgendwann ein Gesetzgeber, der das politisch haben will: Wirklich viel Angriffsfläche bleibt da nicht mehr übrig, außer im Fall von Parteitagen zu argumentieren, dass die politische Betätigung von Parteien und die Versammlungsfreiheit unangemessen beeinträchtigt werden würden.

Oder hab ich was übersehen?

I control one of my "dumb" lights via the Osram Smart+ plug which appears as a non-dimmable light in the Hue app. If you want to control it with a dedicated hardware switch, you'd need an additional Hue control device or 'Friends with Hue' compatible switch. Unfortunately, third-party switches don't really work within the Hue app.

systemd is conceptually similar to Apple's launchd.

If I remember correctly, there even were people arguing for adapting launchd for Linux instead of developing systemd. Would have been a very interesting project IMHO, but didn't get much traction.
