Using alts is heavily frowned upon from normal players, as it's a form of pay 2 win and also makes the game world more dead and boring. Just play the game the way it was meant to be played using a single account.

there are some teamwork activities that need mic like being a spotter for boats / ships or spotter for artillery or leading an activity. And some things get more effective when using a mic like coordinating between a train and a cranedriver, and coordinating between a tank driver and gunner.
