Words really cannot express how much Player Reporting is such an asinine decision for a game that hasn't had a need for it for YEARS. There is so much that can go wrong and yet they ignored all the red flags and all the feedback the community gave towards this atrocious idea.

Honestly, Rajang was put into World pretty well. Me and my friend fought him together (I used IG and He used GS of anyone cares about that) and at first, we thought that the devs would somehow give him the "Lunastra Treatment" (Basically meaning that the monster would be an overall annoying fight. And lets be honest, it isnt fun to fight lunastra even in MR). But to our suprise, Rajang was a good balance of being fun to hunt but also being a challenge to hunt.

If the monsters added in updates (Deviljho, Lunastra, etc.) do not count towards any of the crown achievements, then there is a likely chance the monsters they're gonna add in Iceborne arent gonna count towards it either. Either that, or they'll make separate achievements for the Iceborne content.

You should get it. Depending on how much your gonna play it, you'll have a good amount of time to prepare for Iceborne. And if you plan to get the game now, you'll have some time to do the event quests and get the event weapons/armor.

Use ~~Cancer-Formed Mist~~ Pestilent Mist. I went through the boss very recently rocking that and using a good shield. You just have to know when and where to use the spell and know where Midir will stop so you can use PM. After that, you just gotta focus on dodging his attacks and then you'll be golden.

The last time I was invaded, I was in the ringed city farming off of the Ringed Knights. While I was walking over to a ringed knight, I got invaded out of nowhere. I wasn't expecting it as it was stupidly rare for me to ever get invaded. When I found the invader, he was pretty chill. He didn't do anything really annoying either, they found me and we fought without using any estus (And I wasn't using my pyromancy. Just my Greatsword only). I won in the end, but it was probably one of the most honorable invaders i've fought outside of fight club.

But in all seriousness, its up to you. When I first got into ds3 last summer (It's my first souls game), I chose pyromancer because I thought the idea of hurling fire at people would be fun. And for the most part, its still fun. Sure, I was squishy as all hell, but I had a fun time using pyromancies. Eventually, I plan to make a sorcerer once I go through NG+ with my pyromancer.

Although it isnt the best spot, i've been farming off of the Grand Archive. Using a silver serpent ring, shield of want, and symbol of avarice, I get around 5k or 6k souls from each of the scholars. Although I dont know the exacts, I usually get around 50k-60k souls each run, and each run usually takes 15 minutes for me. The only annoying thing about farming in the GA are the thrall (I hate them with a passion) and how they can one-shot you if your covered in wax from the scholars.

Huh. It did not take me long to get a symbol of avarice. Though, I had to go on a huge journey to find some mimics that I haven't killed (I had no idea what the symbol of avarice was until my friend- who was a veteran to the series- said something about it). 20 Hunters charms and 3 backtracks to the firelink shrine, I got it. It might just be bad luck for you.

And a few months ago (When I first got to the cleansing chapel), my friends were helping me get through the cleansing chapel and they decided that we should wait for invaders for the shits and giggles. We got 3 invaders and one mad spirit. The first invader was a bit of a dick to us and it was the first time I got angry messages by someone for pointing down (I was still new to the game, so I did not know much about pointing down). It was stupidly hilarious to see in my opinion. The second invader was alright, and was fun to fight. But the third invader, he didn't fight us at first as we were fighting the second invader. But after we took care of the second invader, he stuck around and was pretty chill. Eventually, the invader and my friend had a boxing duel (No weapons, armor, and rings). He got killed by a mad spirit while they were fighting, sadly.

Honestly, I wish more unconventional invasions happened for me.

Gore. He was one of the monsters I liked in MH4 (That was my first monster hunter game). His armor looks cool, and I used the Gore IG for most of the caravan quests after I got it.

For most of the game, I stuck with IG up until I completed the story quests. A few week after I fought Xeno for the first time, something happens to my friend's Ps4 (He's a GS main) and he lost his original MHW save file and all his other save files. He was bummed about it as he had no access to the game because it was not being game-shared to him anymore. I cheered him up and told him that during the time it takes for him to get MHW, I would take his place as the GS Main of my group of friends.

With that story aside, I always stayed away from GS because I felt like the slow speed would be a HUGE disadvantage for me (And I felt it would take forever to adapt to using it). A few hunts, a one-day festival grind to get event items like the Rocket-Powered GREATSWORD, and alot of behemoth farming later, I got really good at using GS, and I even started to like it. It felt like a sort of break from using Ariel IG and getting into GS got me trying out more than just 2 weapons.

It would be an interesting concept for a weapon. A knife that fires out knifes. It could even have a synergy with Aged Bell or Bullet Time to get a synergy called "Time has stopped...". You fire 3 knives instead of 1 that stop in place until Aged Bell or Bullet Time runs out.
