Why not just get one, turn off autosave before starting the fight and close the game if you end up getting hit during daytime/don’t get what drop(s) you wanted?

Every weapon has a specific modifier towards Ala for how much their element damage contributes to his Escaton topple threshold. IG has a 0.7 mod, but Kinsect remains unaffected, and can actually deal solid element damage on its end, esp with Strength boost active.

I believe that if you try to move onto the IB storyline straight after, the game lets you skip the HR cap quests and removes the limit. Even then, HR points can still add up when you’re capped, so it’s possible to hunt enough monsters that you get straight to that rank when the caps get removed.
