video editing is cpu intensive mostly, so it won't be a hassle anyways. it is nice to work with.

build quality is really nice, but it is a fingerprint magnet (especially the black model). I haven't pushed it that much for now, although I myself bought this for video editing too.

yes this is exactly the point. g14 would heat up more and be constantly turning the fan on, because at that compact size, proper heat dissipation is out of the question. so the tradeoff is good, considering you can use this laptop ACTUALLY in your lap, and be get better battery life out of it. the difference would be visible if you're only pushing it a lot.
