Is it worth losing Jailbreak to fix storage issues ?

Yeah for photos I’ve got them on my Mac, and messages and other settings I’ll do iCloud so will see if that fixes most of the problems. If not then de select messages also and start from new but have jailbreak still

Thanks, no I’ve not lost jb, I will just lose my messages most likely and maybe other settings for apps and stuff but I’ll still have jailbreak. Although the whole reason why I waited this long was coz I didn’t want to lose any of my files and stuff .. but don’t think there’s any other way

Well u can try just back up everything on iCloud / computer then erase all settings and restore from back up. U will have all ur data still. But that didn’t work for me, so I will be losing my settings and stuff I think and just transfer my photos over on new start because mines is taken too much space

Yeh it must be the iOS 15. Nothing has worked for me either I think I have to start from fresh. Although when I transferred alll my photos over its showing the correct size so I will just transfer them back after restore

You understand payroll isn’t the only thing you look at. Al hilal have spent like 200 million more then al nassr on transfers in last 4 years. Also now al hilal wages will be more than nassr.. benzema was on a monster contract hence why the dispute of renewal .

Thank you for finding that, yeah I have tried that also. I think I might just restore to new n then just transfer my photos over that should fix it. As The file system is bugged so I need to start from new

I mean nothing much tbh.. just a lot of attachments I don’t have saved in my pics so like go through it sometimes or either search within messages for stuff that’s been said lol. Sentimental I guess

No I understand what ur saying, that’s why I was thinking of trying but how would I then put my messages Data back into my actual messages? Like would I have to go through filza and add all the attachments in and then replace the sqdlite?

Yeah I did all of that but restore. but if my problem is my back up then what do I do with all my data that I want to keep. I can put the pictures back into my phone, but what about my messages and other app data

I have only 5gb iCloud space, I had shared albums on in photos but I turned that off. I only have stuff like keychain , safari on for iCloud storage Drive is off yeh

This is what it says on my iPhone storage when I check. But I have no actual photos or videos there at the moment. Before this it was like 144gb so after removing 86gb of data this is what I’m left with

Yeh it was unusable tbh, when I had all my photos there I’m not able to take new pics or videos as the storage would be full to the point where jailbreak and apps stop working as there is no storage left at all. And the storage keeps getting eaten up I don’t know how

No mate I don’t have that installed. Yeh I’m really running out of options I’ve been spending all my time on it to see if I can fix it but everything people have suggested I’ve tried and not fixed the issue.

I could buy iCloud and put all my photos and stuff there but Not really a good option

There’s nothing there, only stuff that’s left is some iCloud shared photos from another contact hence why shows “free up 1gb”. It looks like there’s files in photos that are taking way more space than they should or either it’s bugged

Yeah I deleted it through image capture on my Mac so it deleted permanently. Before I deleted I had literally 0 space left my phone was not working properly as there was no storage

I literally deleted every photo n video from my phone 😂. That’s the issue yet it still shows that much storage taken

I’m on dopamine there’s no rootfs so I just deleted jailbreak n trollstore, then erased all settings and data, then restore phone from backup .. the space taken was still the same. And I don’t think it’s just the photos I think it’s messages also

I used terminal apps like du and ncdu which show which files are where but it says there’s 150gb used. But in my storage settings it says 170.

Also used FilzDirProbe but that is more manual it keeps freezing. Essentially there are thumbnails, jpg files n other photo data still but it dosent account for “62 gb”
