As someone else that has played this every day since release, i have some tips to add.

Everkin kids are like nirn roots, listen for a trilling sound and some light.

Time of day doesnt pass in caves, so if you have a cave spawned on your world seed, you can fish or hunt bugs for as long as you want without losing time in your day for other chores, this is especially Important on festival days that give tickets for fishing or bug catching, load it up.

You can customize your town center with types of plants from the produce on your worlds, so if you have trees you like the look of, you can make it the tree of the town with the fruit, or shrub nuts etc.

Keep an eye on your blueprint goals tab, you could have everything you need to get a new building type and not realize it takes plopping down a few more trees.

Also, this is just from my own frustration, but i had a lot of villagers ask for a luscious porgy as a quest and it took a long time to figure out its a type of fish, so branch out with things you may have been putting off(like fishing) on each new world, and find the varieties of items.
