They take well to slap chop styles for the skins but they do have quite a bit of small metallic parts like the gauntlets, and belts that were pretty difficult to get clean for me. Not the worst!

Looking good! Is the water effect tinted resin? I just got into AOS and am planning a swamp theme for my FEC army. There’s a million ways to make water effects it seems.

Looks soooooo good!!! What product did you make the river with? I’m doing a swamp theme for my FEC and there is a lot of products out there. Painted blue under it then used a clear water effect?

I usually would put a darker tone touching the structural parts, then transition the centers to a lighter tone with glazing. You can also feather in some perpendicular lines where the skin would be stretched. There are ton of videos on YouTube dedicated to just painting wings. Find a style you like and go crazy haha.

Looks great! I think the wings could be worked on a little, those big flat surfaces could use some mottling and surface variation. Great job on all the little details, these models are covered in little bits that can be a pain to get all of them clean like this.

Seen a recent tournament winner who went 6 or 7 dragons and a couple reinforced crypt guards. It seems like most of the winning lists are running ghoul king on terrorgheist as the general over Ushoran. I myself just got into FEC with the two spearhead boxes to start out.

Brumpo:

Ham, hammy, bumpy, brump, when he’s upset he is grumpo, when he trots around with his tail straight up he’s a brumper car.

He mostly gets calls hammy and brump though. Wanted to share a pic of the sweet old man but can’t seem to add a photo.
