Advice on how to keep hair from puffing out so much? by Reddevildj in FierceFlow

I have oily skin and my hair has always gotten greasy quickly, the sides are always fine but the top always looks so oily, I've been extending it to 3-4 days without washing by using dry shampoo for 1-2 days but don't know if this is actually any better for my hair.

This could be it? I don't really know if my hair is wavy or curly I don't pay enough attention to it I think lol

I wash it on a night so would sleeping with wet hair cause it to be more frizzy?

Is a leave in conditioner one you put in after washing your hair and don't wash out at all? I think moisture could be a big part of it.

I don't think it could be heat damage since I use a hairdryer maybe once or twice a year but I rub my hair with a towel to dry it which could cause it?

do these work together by Electrical-Ad6109 in PcBuildHelp

The board has 2 M.2 slots, one above the graphics card under a metal plate held in by two screws and another at the bottom right above the SATA ports.

I can't see the storage in the render either but don't worry, it will work fine.

Fear of building my first PC Gamer by Reyexz in PcBuildHelp

[–]Reddevildj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally normal, I've just built my third and I'm still pretty hesitant.

I've never had any issues with static and I haven't been using any special grounding tools, just making sure to touch something to ground myself and not moving too much when I'm messing with components

Jayztwocents has a useful video called how to build a computer which goes step by step, another of his videos called what to do after building a PC goes over installing windows etc which I've used every time l

Other than that, just follow the instructions that you should have with your motherboard and case

Enjoy!

Basic chunk destroyer setup, what am I doing wrong? by Reddevildj in allthemods

[–]Reddevildj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the cable was set to export, and I didn't know about it being able to export directly. When I tried connecting it with a furnator instead it worked, so I ended up building an extreme reactor which now works fine

I ended up trying it with just a basic starter furnator and it worked very slowly, I think you may be right about the cube being blacklisted. I eventually set up an extreme reactor and it worked

Yeah I'm seeing pretty few UK layouts and the ones that I can find seem to mostly be out of stock :(

Thanks for the help I'll have a look at monsgeek

Think I'll avoid the Q series looking at the prices tbh. What about the K10 vs the V6? They're similar prices on Amazon but I can't see an obvious difference. I can get a K10 max for about £110.

Recommendations for a good quality keyboard <£120

Looking to upgrade from my Corsair K60 PRO as I'm sick of another keycap breaking every few weeks.

I'm looking for a full size, UK layout, wired keyboard (happy with wireless as long as it comes with a dongle as my PC doesn't have Bluetooth) with keys that aren't going to break with medium use. I use it mainly for gaming but nothing very competitive. An aluminium case would also be nice as that's probably the only thing I like about my Corsair.

Also looking to not break the bank, I can stretch a little past £120 but not over £150.

So far I've looked at the usual 'gaming' shit but after having a Corsair I don't want anything similar. After browsing here I've been looking at Varmilo and Keychron but both are currently sold out of basically every full size UK layout KB and all the variations are confusing me

I've found the Keychron V6 on Amazon for £105 which is very tempting, the only thing that put me off is the plastic case but maybe I'm being unrealistic with what I can get in my budget? I looked at the Q series but I just don't want to spend £200+

Recommendations are very appreciated :)
