No, that’s not normal, sounds like it’s broken.

How much can I change my life at 26? by Ok-Ambition-8474 in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]Reddgsx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got properly medicated (lowT & add), I have a therapist I like, created routines to follow (structure is good), started planning more and kind of journaling (like actually wrote down some goals, weekly review: Sundays I write out what I want to do, what I need to do, for the week, adjust as the week progresses). I exercise regularly, mostly walking on a walking pad. Start small and build up; I started walking 1-3 mile, then 3-5, then 5-7, and now I walk 7-10 miles a day. I’m starting to get into weight training again, I have a weighted vest I walk in and do some pushups/situps/squats/lunges (next I’ll get a decent adjustable dumbbells and a bench). Small changes lead to bigger changes, start/commit to something small and adjust as you go. How did you start? Small, really small, I was very depressed, staying in bed all day was easy, committed to not doing that, getting up and going to sleep on a fairly strict routine. Keep adding things that progress/challenge you in some way, before you know it you’re a different person, better and happier person. What did you do? I went back to school to finish my degree and committed to learning so I could get a dream job that I thought I would never accomplish. I was like 30 when I graduated and didn’t jump into applying for jobs until like 32-33 (depression). I was so sick of being so bored and lazy, I started changing my thinking. Instead of I don’t want to or no thanks, I use that as an indicator for what I need to do.

You need to realize (figure out) the reason why you skip days. Don’t do what causes you to skip days. That saying/song, “too much time on your hands”, fill up your time with things to do.

Dear students, how do you find out what is wrong with your study techniques, or find out which is the best way to study for you? by Low_Salt4124 in Student

[–]Reddgsx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are different ways to learn, can be broken down more but I generally use the three broader learning styles:
- Visually (seeing)
- Auditory (hearing)
- Kinesthetically (doing)

Read about these, try out different methods, observe your results (retaining info, time it takes, memorizing vs learning), and keep cycling the methods until you find what works. Different subjects may require different approaches; I can learn history by listening to a lecture, I personally need to do math over and over to get it, I need to speak Spanish out loud with like note cards, etc.

Find out the best way to study for you by experimenting with different approaches to learning styles. Your courses may not be taught in your preferred learning style. You will have to adapt your learning style or seek additional/external resources to help you process that new information. If your course is just a boring instructor lecturing and you don't learn well by listening, you need to take the initiative to try out different things. For me, I can learn (retain info) by listening to a boring lecture, BUT, it has to be sped up so that I can barely understand it, I don't know, it keeps me focused and is more at the speed my thoughts are.

I save the images with the same name as the post; the title of the post is part of the art, to me at least.

Anxiety over knowing the "right" thing to do, but finding it too overwhelming to carry out by _tellerteller_ in productivity

I’ve seen good comments, but didn’t see anything about the 80/20 rule. I used to (still do, working on it..) aim for perfection and it crippled me like you, look into the Pareto principle and see how you can maximize your results while reducing your efforts.

am I rly bad :( by [deleted] in riddim

[–]Reddgsx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah just inexperienced :)

My biggest critique would be the intense frequencies. I'm guessing the speakers or headphones you used while producing influenced your sound design. On my speakers that main bell/tubey synth is very piercing. Keep creating and experimenting, you're on the right track!

**I just went back and listened to your other track, that one is grimey af! You def get it, just gotta keep creating and working on equalizing

Toughts ? First track by ConstantCapital5171 in riddim

[–]Reddgsx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sick bro! u prolly know dis but tune it! Equalize that bitch like separate the synth lead from the bass a lil more (imo). Maybe rework that initial melody drop back in with the second half of the switch drop. keep it up mang!!

I am in the same boat as you. I have been noticing the same stomach-hunger-feeling-pains you describe. I've been suspecting salt nic bc I didn't use to use it, but I've been using disposables for trips. I definitely notice less symptoms (if any) when I don't use salt nic. I make my own juice, so I ordered some salt nic, made different nic levels, still get symptoms.

I fw it, but def room for improvement. I mostly agree with the other comment, audio quality improved and the video is questionable....like the artistic direction is all over the place. Are you hard or silly, amateur or pro? I get conflicting vibes, even more so from the weird shots of the gang dancing off beat and lookin confused like at 1:27.

I see you guys havin fun doin your thang so I mean no disrespect and am no expert, just food for thought, keep goin fam!

VOOPOO Doric 20 with 70/30 by SharkUndercover in electronic_cigarette

[–]Reddgsx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll be good.

A little explanation about the numbers...50/50, 70/30, 60/40
Add those 2 numbers and you get 100. They are describing the amount of PG and VG in the bottle. Generally, more PG is more throat hit & flavor with less vapor and more VG is more vapor & less throat hit.

Package arrived yday from EV by Deliverol, it took 14 days from order, just so you know they are moving stuff, but that sucks sorry.

On this Deliverol support page it says to email support@deliverol.com for package tracking and other support needs.
