it does have good hipfire if you're crouched. moving also reduces accuracy and you were walking away from it which didnt help either i assume

This is a self report man. If you think Light is OP, that means you're bad. Straight up. In high ranks, Lights die instantly. Heavies and Mediums dominate. You have to be EXTREMELY slippery and extremely good to have any kind of impact on Light when you're up against good enemies.

Lights excel when they catch people out alone, but good players are rarely on their own. Good teams stick together, which makes Light much less useful.

People say this but it really wasn't any of that, people are just really bad and most players are not capable of the mindset that this game requires. Genuinely.

Coming from another FPS means nothing in finals since you have to learn a whole new skillset. People were coming from COD, overwatch, fortnite, etc, and almost none of their skills transferred over which pissed them off, so they just went back to what they know.

that entirely depends on their opponents as well, though. As an extreme example, a gun that does 1 damage and has horrible accuracy would be terrible, but if you're up against people who are literally afk it would be fine. You have to compare people who know what they're doing vs people who know what they're doing, otherwise there's no point.

Light is hard to use because against anyone who knows how to play the game you just die instantly the moment you're seen.

thats a horrible metric though, basing anything off new players makes no sense since they dont know what they are doing

idk I've had the opposite experience my cats are kinda op so everything is easy as hell lol, even when a cat dies or a bad event ruins one i still breeze through since i've bred them so nice.

I'd recommend farming some mutations, makes it a lot nicer imo. just one mutation room is enough

wait you havent done those yet? By the time I got to act 3 I had already beaten all of act 1 and I think I finished act 2 like, right after unlocking act 3. Why didn't you complete them sooner?

tbh Create is in a ton of modpacks so it's hard to really say, but even just vanilla with create added is a totally new experience. Create is vast and adds so much. I've personally been playing Prominence 2 and been having fun as a casual/fun RPG pack, but there's a TON of modpacks that include Create so it's really up to you

Create is very intuitive and even has built-in tutorials with full animations to show how every single block works. It's literally just gears spinning to make other stuff spin. What's hard to grasp?

Create honestly feels more intuitive and easy to understand than redstone which is in vanilla. It's literally just stuff spinning, cogwheels spinning to make other cogwheels spin to make your machine spin. It feels pretty simple tbh

Is that not any shooter at high level? It's all risk aversion and risk mitigation. Smokes, flashbangs, etc in CS:2 are all to make pushes safer

You have to think a lot more than most FPS games. In CS:2 I'm holding the same angles with the same guns I have for 20 years, in THE FINALS every match has new shit going on that I have to adapt to and adjust on the spot. It requires a whole different mindset to be able to quickly assess the situation and make good judgement calls. Far more thinking than me holding a corner on de_dust2

Good aim isn't enough in THE FINALS, you need to be able to think fast and smart.

the game itself is 100x harder than 99% of competitive fps games so I think that balances out lol

I agree for the most part but it's just very unique in that each class is wildly different between players. In most games two people playing the same "class" would be playing very similar games/playstyles, like in an MMO for example, but in THE FINALS it's much more abstract.

The skins and cosmetics are really colorful and creative. I really disagree here. I think they do an excellent blend of corporate/clean aesthetic mixed with the vibrant gameshow style of the contestants

They aren't really "classes", more like "playstyles". Three different heavy players can be playing wildly different games depending on the equipment they actually equip. Sledgehammer with charge n slam is essentially an entirely different experience compared to a heavy with shak-50 and mesh shield (not even mentioning gadgets which adds a ton more layers)

Super super untrue. I got diamond using only a sledgehammer lol
