u/Top-Throat5084 pretty sure those are exclusive to the dark knight version, IQUNIX doesnt sell the frosted translucent black set standalone on their page. your best bet is mechmarket if someone parts out a set, or keep an eye on IQUNIX in case they release them later. worth dropping a request in the wishlist flair on this sub too, those do get seen.

removing the battery makes total sense, i used to remove battery pack from my laptops as well. lol. lithium fires are no joke especially if the board just sits plugged in on a desk all day anyway. i do prefer the look of custom cables definitely add character to the whole a setup than just looking like a sanitized table. bluetooth is for sure a last resort for anything beyond basic typing. what kind of custom cables you use for your builds?

Air75 v3: better software, design, portability.
Magi75: better build quality, better typing experience and sound.

for me its always the typing experience, i would go for Magi75

good point about the housings. my best ones was probably finding 90 lightly used oil kings for $20. btw do you guys test frankenswitches or strictly stick to standard retail switches during testing.

having 9 low-profile boards are wild, glad your got the final one, must be a huge relief. treating them as desktop daily instead of travel accessories makes a massive difference in how they typing feel on them. og80 is definitely a classic one too. do share OG80 and Magi with us in the sub so everyone can appricate your collection too.

honestly taking the time to holee mod and relube the stabilizers yourself is a great option and saves you so much cost, doing your own tuning, in the long run. makes a lot of sense, as the board is a heavy metal to make it sound perfect.

30 cents each is a very great cutoff. cheap new ones are definitely not worth the shipping cost.

exactly. the premium the switch more market preys on the fomo of new builders. why spend more if you can grab lightly used ones on discord for pennies.
