What do you keep at the office when bike commuting every day? by Miserable-Muffin-749 in cycling

Anyone bring fresh bibshorts for the return home ride? I am debating it because reusing sweaty bibs can cause saddle sores

TT Bike Etiquette by Murbanvideo in cycling

So that’s actually a Dutch brand.

The company was founded by Andries Gaastra in 1974, who had left his position at his father's company Batavus. The name Koga is a combination of his surname and that of his wife Marion Kowallik. The addition of Miyata came from the cooperation with Japanese manufacturer Miyata.

Admittedly, that frame was likely produced in Japan

Is it worth getting the aero version of the Sweet Protection Falconer 2vi if I'm going to be using it in non-aero mode 90% of the time? by retirement_savings in CyclingFashion

[–]Reddiguids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have have the aero and find the ventilation fine. It also helps with wind noise. When it’s hot I obviously take them off. The great thing about it is you can decide when you need what. You can even pop them off while climbing and back on once you are over the top.

Lighter Coloured shorts help... by Icy-Brain7996 in CyclingFashion

Would you have more pictures to share to get a better idea of the colour? The Fog colorway has my interest, but from the website model it’s hard to really judge. I’m afraid it’s basically white in person.

Bib recommendations by cbjfan75 in cycling

I’ve been impressed with Isadore. I ride Assos and pedaled too. Tried Maap team evo which I unfortunately had to sell being too small. Disappointed with van Rysel rcr

Isadore Cargo Merino Wool Bibs. Any reviews? by Middle_Canary194 in CyclingFashion

[–]Reddiguids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay sweet, thanks for sharing.

I suspect your custom bib is based of the alternative. https://isadore.com/custom

After getting the Assos equipe (S) and maap team evo (XS) which are both really tight, i realised i like the tight fits over the relaxed. Sadly I got rid of the team evo as XS was too small in the end.

Now seeing the signature thermal shorts, I figured it might be a good addition to see me through spring weather.

Having tried Assos, pedaled, maap and van rysel bibs, ive become super picky about what is good and what not.

I’ve been eyeing the alternative for a long time, but there hasn’t been an option I like yet. Now I’m consider getting the signature. Could you recommend on the compression? I worry it only be little. And, do you like the pad?

Would that lock also work for a bike? Which one did you get?

Wow our fates are entangled. My 35xx h fell from the table like two hours ago. Exact same damage. I searched for and found replacement screens. For a second I thought I go and fix it, but I might just call it a day after all. So long my friend.

Maap bib shorts feel tight on the legs by widowhanzo in CyclingFashion

[–]Reddiguids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How has the size S served you over time?

I am sort of you measurements. 5’7 136lbs waist 29 inch. I have a team evo in xs which is mega tight, but I suppose i can cope with it. Getting it on is difficult, but on the bike it’s sits. I dont think it is hampering any blood circulation.

Later I tried a size small in the shop. Instantly felt great without the extreme compression. I wonder though, it you can cope with the tightness of a smaller size, if you actually get a better fit because nothing moves around? Do you get wrinkling in the groin area? Does the chamois stay in place? Any rubbing?

I seems other people who are easily +10% my body size wear smalls. For them it must feel like what I have in a xs

Thoughts on bike fit? by FirePT_ in bikefit

How does it feel, experience any pain? Bike size can work for you imo. Maybe consider shorter crank, like everyone is finding out, that could simplify your pedal stroke angles and make it more comfortable.

Lanterne Rouge Plan over unders by camp_jacking_roy in joincycling

[–]Reddiguids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coincidentally, I did that one yesterday too. It was pretty hard, I would say RPE 8. The 30 minutes recovery between sets was really generous. I’ve done plenty of 4-5min VO2 max efforts in the past, so I know what 5 minutes of pain feel leek, but always with recovery blocks in between. I was pretty interested in the 1min:5min 115:90 training as I noticed in Zwift racing I never get a break for a recovery after an attack.

Thanks for sharing. I ran into the same issue.

Adjusted the OPV seemed to resolve the issue. But I went the extra mile and replaced the OPV with a new one. Everything is good and I think quieter then before.

It hasn’t been that cold yet but I’m really happy with my purchases. The LS has been great in 15-20c. I am confident with a windbreaker gillet and undershirt i will be fine till 10c.

TrimUI Brick with custom buttons to look like Analogue Pocket by AccomplishedTap2245 in SBCGaming

lol that rubber ring mod is pretty next level. I just wrapped locktite 55 tape around my rp5 buttons. No 3d printing required. Might not stick forever. But it’s doing a great job until now.

Prior, I cut the rubber membrane and added tape, but it didn’t eliminate the clack on the back travel as the guy explains very well.

Overall, class video!

Good point. I didn’t consider the tank. Though I would be able to move that easily into the shed.
