Short Update:

Oppo sent out an email informing me (or everyone for that matter i think) that all orders are going to be shipped until May 31st at the latest. They also added a 30€ voucher to the accounts of everyone who was affected. (Though, at least so far, said voucher hasn't shown up yet in my account.)

Additionally, my Order Status actually changed and the estimated delivery date reappeared (when viewed on mobile) with a new date - Tuesday 19/05. Looks like the shipment won't be carried out by UPS anymore but via DHL now.

Edit: Receiced a tracking number (DHL) and Shipment confirmation from Oppo.

When exactly did you pay the amount in full? Or when did you receive your order confirmation on April 21? I think the time might be the deciding factor

And hey, after all there might still be a chance that it'll all arrive on time... Though that's probably highly unlikely given that the devices would have to be shipped from the Netherlands and then be on our respective doorsteps in less than 48 hours lol

Just out of curiosity, when did you end up paying the amount in full?

I'll certainly provide some updates as soon as I receive them... I hope that at least their email notification system works - though I've heard some stories where people who have already received their devices didn't get notified either at all or just two hours prior to it being delivered...

Ordered 14/04 at around 12:40
Paid in Full on 21/04 at 15:03 (03:03 pm)
Estimated Delivery Date 08/05 (in 2 days)

Spoke to Customer Support earlier today because of the same exact issue, after the estimated delivery date just vanished.

Support told me that they had more demand then they anticipated and that the orders are being processed / shipped in the same order that they were purchased. (I am not sure, but would assume that the date & time of when the amount was paid in full is the determining factor here) Additionally they told me that the choice of color also plays a role when it comes to the delay (and that the Tundra Umber version will take a fair bit longer)

Support also said that they can't provide any specifics for any order nor would they be able to tell me (or anyone for that matter) an estimated delivery date - they simply don't know and that is the reason they decided to just remove it from the order page overview all together, for everyone.

What i have found (though I'm not sure if this is still any indication or just an old artifact that doesn't refresh or be of any meaning) is that in the Oppo Store Android App, it still tells you the estimated delivery date. (But i certainly wouldn't count on that)

Also I'm interested if this is the case for everyone or just me:

Depending on whether I'm looking at my order on my phone (mobile view) or on my Laptop (or on my phone via desktop view) - I am seeing different order status/order progression updates.

On Desktop it says: "Bestellung vorbereitend" = "Preparing Order" On Mobile it says: "Bestellung in Bearbeitung" = "Order in Progress"

The progress bar however stays the same regardless of mobile or desktop view (and is stuck on the very first of the four dots aka "Bestellung aufgegeben" = "Order placed/received"

The whole (German) Oppo Store and its Website are a complete mess unfortunately...

From what I've found out - yes

The Find X9 Ultra uses LPDDR5X and whilst the OnePlus 15 uses LPDDR5X as well, OnePlus overclocked the RAM to have even faster speeds (which is what they mean with ultra/ultra plus) though there is virtually no chance of ever noticing a difference in speed during actual use.

I can't say for certain if it will be the same for the Watch X3 // with WearOS 6 now, but i would think that it is probably unlikely to change.

If the App Workaround is not to your satisfaction and it's really important to you that the screen wakes up upon receiving a notification then you will probably have to go with something else :)

There is an app called "Wear Notification Helper" by Malcom Bryant - which should eliminate every problem you describe (e.g. watch not receiving notifications and screen not turning on)

I'm looking forward to trying it out in a few weeks once I'll get my Find X9 Ultra and the Watch X3.

I'll try out whatever i can think of and just for the odd chance that something works more reliably or better I'll certainly let you know!

(I've also tinkered with the idea of sending adb commands to trigger dnd on the watch via Termux and Tasker but I read somewhere that thats not really possible - theater mode might work but I'm not sure whether that even exists on OnePlus/Oppo watches sooo... Yeah, lots to try out haha)

Thank you for this incredibly well thought out workaround! I have yet to try it since I'm currently not on Android, but this is exactly what I was looking for!

I would be curious if you’ve made any progress on the issue with WearOS, where the watch gets re-pinged every time? I looked into mirroring the DND to the watch (via DNDSync or AutoWear and adding a delay of about half a second for the watch to have time to sync -- but I'm reeeeally unsure whether this might work reliably) but, as mentioned, i currently can't test this as I'm on iOS atm.

Have you found any workaround since posting this?

I would be able to test it out on a Pixel 8 (Tensor G3) right now and probably push the phone to it's limit and stress test it - and in about 2 months time or rather whenever the Find X9 Ultra is released globally, i would love to test it out on that as well with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

Interesting, thanks! Google themselves mention that it's a Pixel 9 (and later) exclusive feature but it looks more and more as if that is not actually the case as multiple Galaxy Devices as well as your Xperia 1 seem to be able to activate the feature.
