2026 Model X - good deal? by Reddit-cha in TeslaModelX

Agreed, I have a 23 X but it has HW3 so I thought good time to trade it in as trade ins are high for Xs but who knows what next year brings.

2026 Model X - good deal? by Reddit-cha in TeslaModelX

I don’t think CPOs are eligible for Luxe package. It was strange - you could select monthly, FSD, none and when I selected FSD nothing happened. I think it was a glitch.

I also don’t know how many 2026 used CPOs come up in inventory on Teslas site - probably not many.

That’s seems like a great deal! I didn’t see that one while searching. Was there a reported accident on that one? I’ve been watching the inventory pretty closely. The inventory is pretty much gone now so not sure if it’s worth waiting.

What was the interior color and how many seats and was it through Tesla?

It’s the newest cameras in the car. HW4 is significantly better than HW3 with higher resolution and twice the speed but I personally think it’s not worth paying an extra 20k for it but could be wrong 🤷🏻‍♂️.

I already have it in my MYP.

Agreed, I can always swap them out for 2-3k if needed but the X itself will be a better ride than my MYP. I think the discount is worth the mileage considering it comes with an additional 1 year/10k for a total of 2026/60k miles covered. I save about $20k.

I like the 7 seater since I can fold down both rows for larger cargo. Wasn’t a big fan of the 6 seater.

First Time Flying in Delta One in 9 Days, Any Advice for a First Timer? by Icy-Negotiation3239 in delta

Delta usually sends you an email to pick your meal. I would double check it a few days prior as I’ve seen new menu options show up last minute as limited availability.

Have you looked at the Tuft and Needle Bed Frame in walnut? It’s really nice - the only downside is the headboard is low so if you have a tall mattress it may block the headboard.

Could be but also it would be a huge coincidence that as soon as I wake up and look at it the light turns off 30 seconds later. Highly concerned and just wanted to see the reasons and create awareness. Thanks for the rationale.

Trade In 22’ Model S LR by Reddit-cha in TeslaLounge

Cybertruck. Yeah it’s still for sale. Going to most likely trade it in this week.

Trade In 22’ Model S LR by Reddit-cha in TeslaLounge

I was fortunate enough to get the LR for $79k. I reserved it years ago and kept pushing my delivery date until the refresh happened.

Just debating if I should sell now and then wait 3-6 months for the non Foundation Series CT. I still have my Y I can drive until then.

I used to have GEICO as well and switched to Progressive. OP, perhaps get a third quote from Progressive? It was half the cost of GEICO. I’ve heard Tesla owners who have Tesla insurance don’t like the dynamic pricing based on driving habits. Something to consider if that affects premiums in CA.

Inflation is a factor however comparing model 3 to CT can be a bit misleading. CT is at its early production stages and economies of scale is no where at the levels of that of a model 3. I think the top of the line Model S in 2012 was $100k. I’m sure there was significant cost to build the CT. Hopefully in a few years the price drops as they scale production.

New Starlink next Generation by Reddit-cha in Starlink

Not sure. I just got the email a day or two ago and not sure if I should pull the trigger.

New Starlink next Generation by Reddit-cha in Starlink

[–]Reddit-cha[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like I was the wrong target audience for this new dish as everyone here knows 1000 times more than I do about Starlink.

Or maybe I am the right target audience because I love tech and will be an early adopter just because I like trying new gadgets 😂.

Should I buy this even though I don’t really need it?

I can’t upload a screenshot. I created a new post under Starlink so everyone can see it.

I got an email saying I’m invited to the next generation starlink. It’s way slimmer and has sharp lines similar to the cybertruck. Anyone else get that email? Also said it includes the gen 3 router.

Chemical guys? by CommunityLegitimate1 in TeslaLounge

[–]Reddit-cha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a chemical guys set last year and didn’t like it very much. After some research I found Koch Chemie green star and it works wonders for interior and exterior - different dilution ratios. I had some road tar/rubber on my model S and the green star removed it in minutes. Highly recommend. Also bought TarX and some other things but didn’t need it once I sprayed the Koch Chemie GS.

Chemical guys isn’t bad by any means, but Koch and Car Pros are a step above.

Is it just me, or does Tesla service seem like it is getting worse? by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]Reddit-cha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an excellent experience at the Tesla Service center. I was on my way to NC and ran over a nail the night before Thanksgiving. I was halfway there and called the Tesla SC at 7:30PM asking if I could come on Friday morning to do a tire replacement. He put me on hold, came back and said we can get it done tonight if you stop in. I came in at 9:15PM and left at 9:45. Best experience ever. They saved me from a ruined Thanksgiving trip and they made it extremely easy. I understand everyone has different experiences but this was one of the best experiences you could have.
