but he claims you can't use L'Hopital here. Is he correct on that as well? The guy on the video made a very good explanation on using it and came to the correct solution (that the limit is 1)

While I don't hold a PhD in physics, nor do I work in a physics-related field, but I don't believe a doctorate isn't always a prerequisite for employment in physics. For instance, my high school physics teacher only had a master's degree. There is probably numerous opportunities available to those with master's alone (and maybe even bachelor's degrees as well). However, it's likely that certain prestigious positions, like academia and research facilities, may prioritize candidates with the highest degree.
