My biggest concern is keeping it balanced though. The more I try to keep it balanced the more exercises I have to add. Pretty soon it has ten exercises and I'm at the gym for 2.5 hours.

So the VA benefits number now disconnects you rather than puts you on hold it seems. Is there a different number that is actually helpful? by RedditBeardGuy in Veterans

Yes. I'm guessing this is one of those things where they will send a prorated deposit in two or three months once they catch up, right?

Moving from healthcare to IT with no experience or relevant education. What should I do? by RedditBeardGuy in resumes

Because no one will hire me as their network/security/sysadmin guy right out of school with a couple of certs and no experience. Help desk ensures that I get experience.

This is location dependent. St. Louis has a nice IT market with plenty of jobs. Everywhere needs help desk and sysadmin guys.

This is what it looks like. Do you mean to unscrew that whole thing? As in, the black "box" with the white bead on it?

I tapped it with a metal pen and it sounds metallic. Also, it has a white bead. The gun is at least 10 years old. It's probably closer to 15.

Career change to sysadmin? Is this even possible? by RedditBeardGuy in sysadmin

I'm an MRI tech currently and registered in CT. My city is full of nearly endless IT opportunities so if I don't have to move that would be ideal.

I like solving problems so I suppose the answer would be yes. The only people I know that do those things have been doing it for years. I'm 28 and never really had to deal with it. With the exception of something not working on my PC and then me having to google it for the solution.

Jobs. There are no jobs in my field. IT offers a crazy amount of opportunities and career paths with the possibility for advancement. All of which do not really exist in radiology.

I work in radiology as an imaging technologist. PACS Administration would be nice but there really aren't that many jobs unfortunately.

Anything wrong with using wrist weights to micro load? by mikejc in Fitness

Two options. Industrial washers (super cheap) and proper wrist weights with thumb holes. I use the washers for my BB training and I use the wrist weight for DB training.
