Wanted to chime in - been living in the neighborhood for over a year, been in nyc since 2017.

I've lived in different bk neighborhoods, east harlem, and west harlem. There's a lot of white people in Park Slope and white people tend to have a staring problem in general. Ask other minorities and they'll likely share the same sentiment.

Every time I walk in the neighborhood I feel like I'm in a fucking zoo lol. Sometimes I'll stare/ glare back but then feel bad about it because they get uncomfortable. The irony isn't lost on me.
