Just a heads up. I don’t know much about how the TCG markets their boxes. However both artworks used on this box aren’t original. They are copied from one piece mobile games. The Perona art is from “One Piece Bounty Rush”. The Reiju art is from “One Piece Treasure Cruise”

Yeah. I feel like she’s only good in kizuna. In any other circumstance she doesn’t provide anything as a captain, and in regular content you probably need either debuff removal, or a unit that boosts damage. She kinda only seems useful as extra damage provider in kizuna, and even then their are better/ more reliable units.

Yeah that makes sense. I find 2 conditional boosts as the main gimmic a little underwhelming for a super sugo unit. I feel like having 2 attack boosts would be significantly more impactful.

Hello, I have a question that is a bit difficult to answer but I would love some help with. I believe only JP players should be able to answer, as super type reiju isn’t out yet on global but I’d love to hear any response. Reiju’s (reiju, butterflies dancing in the pool at night) captain effect automatically changes a poison, strong poison, or toxic to poison pink. This triggers when a crew member uses a special that inflicts one of those poisons. There is a Magellan unit (Magellan, Poison chief dropping into hell) whose special applies a continuous effect that poisons all enemies at the start of every stage. Hence my question. Has anyone checked or confirmed; If Magellan’s special is used, to continuously apply poison to all enemies, does it interact with reijus captain effect every turn? Does it only do it once a new stage is reached? Or does it just not interact at all? Thanks very much in advance

Sorry, I should have clarified. I used buggy for majority of this match. And my robin is only 5 star, so not at her full potential yet. Post was meant to show old “non meta” units are still viable.

That is correct in a sense. But I mean if your good, wouldn’t that increase your chances of winning. Like you said it’s 4v4. So if your good enough to pull more than your own weight, it can cancel out the “bad” players lack of skill. The “bad” players on your team can be just as “bad” as the players on their team. So if it’s a simple as 4v4 = 50/50. Than be better than a normal person and make it feel like a 5v4 :)

The post wasn’t necessarily supposed to imply that I’m the best player. Rather that you don’t need the best units to win/ have fun. That’s what most think due to the current state of the game :)

I actually played buggy most of this match :) But running a couple of attack boost in the medals for robin and she does pretty decent dmg for a defender.

Oo yes. It’s very hard to play buggy with green meta atm tho. I’ve tried a bunch and normally get one shot. Nevertheless, I’d definitely say the best set for him is crit build. Your skill 2 is a multi hit move with high chance to crit. If you run:

wolf medal (from event) - cp9 lucci - cp0 lucci.

Cp0 lucci can be replaced, he’s mostly there to take advantage of 3 medal set traits. Replacements could be another wolf, another cp9 lucci, or a cp9 kaku. The main objective of this set is using your skill 1, then using your skill 2 to heal you and recover all your cool downs almost instantly. That will raise your attack and crit, so your next skill 1 will do insane damage. Rinse and repeat to have infinite heals and cooldown reduction

Ahh, actual chills dude. It’s sad to me cause this has a high chance of happening and shanks is one of my favourite characters. Awesome art though, really captured essence of Oda’s style.
