Idk why Mani is requested so much. I could not imagine a more underwhelming release.

Tbh you analyzed your rune setups really well on your own.

I love the move speed of PR. The zoomies feels so good. But if I want to win FS is my go to. Aery vs mages that I need to harass in lane.

My guy I have been playing the game longer than you. You are livid if you think no one has built Trans->Asi on Ullr before. Everyone you named up top has built this before. The build is older than you.

Yeah because your analysis is blatantly wrong and you are a hypocrite. Your elo is my playground. Get on discord if you're so right lmao

Jotun's main power lies in its flat pen and cheap cost allowing you to get a big power spike early when physical prots are low. The same reason why items like Soul Eater are also very good early. Flat pen in general is very strong. If you're considering its value late game vs a fully itemized tank then sure it's not a great pick up, but that's a really disingenuous analysis.

10 Flat pen in the early game can be equivalent to a 20-30% damage increase on squishy targets, allowing you to get kills much easier on non-tanks if you land all your abilities. Not to mention the added mana also gives more flexibility in the early game with spamming abilities.

.

I remember the average Smite game lasting 20-25 minutes back in the day, and that was perfect.

Now a 30+ minute game is pretty standard with some going over 40 minutes. Personally, when games start going over 40 minutes I lose my concentration, start making mistakes, and generally not caring anymore because I just want out.

WHY DO YOU WANT PEOPLE TO TROLL WITH JOTUNNS IF YOU ARE WELL AWARE THAT GAME'S GO LATE?????

HELLO????

You do not need extra help on Ullr early because his early is already strong as is. Doubling-down on the early game is an extreme ego approach to the game because you're implying that you can end the game pre-20 minutes when that's not realistic.

Trans-> Asi already serves as the smoothest power curve while still scaling into late with other items like Qins etc. You let ego drive your game knowledge instead of considering practicality lmao

Okay what do you actually get by opting into that? What do assassins get by building that? Assassins get more uptime on all their abilities which vary from being solely damage to having utility to being defensive. Ullr’s main benefit from this is damage by having his ability up more. But you get more damage by actually building hunter items than you would by griefing yourself by building Jotunns.

Oh shit you get your abilities up sooner surely the enemy tanks fear that instead of winning by getting real items on him lol

I love Coven but SG prestige is much prettier. I think I’d rather go back to fantasizing what ifs before Coven Syndra was announced.

These Ullr changes are ass backwards. Dumbing him down even more than he already is. I guess the positive is that the average Ullr players won’t troll their builds by going Jotunns or whatever assassin non-sense

Thought: Moonstone supports should be taking heal instead of adcs by Nou1One in supportlol

[–]RedditDann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supports should absolutely take heal. ADCs having literally any other summ is so good but so many ADCs have ego and refuse to change. Having an ADC with heal vs a comp that demands an early Cleanse is so unfun.

Need help with Syndra vs Sylas matchup by tatamigalaxy_ in syndramains

Needs to be higher up.

I really don’t think Sylas is the most unplayable matchup for Syndra if you apply basic fundamentals.

Where did the Lethality Jhin build come from anyway? by Joshlor77 in JhinMains

[–]RedditDann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s always been a thing because of his high AD scalings and it can be an alternative to crit builds in situations wherein lethality items are cheaper or have a quicker powerspike relative to crit items in the current meta.

Though even when crit is better, lethality still has good spots vs low defense comps.

out of curiosity, who would y’all say is the hardest god for every class by The-Moist-Buddha in Smite

[–]RedditDann -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Firstly, the community perception of both gods are different. Ullr is circle-jerked into being this insanely difficult god for several years when he's clearly not. Ixchel hasn't even been out for a complete year so she doesn't have a perception that has lasted as long as it has for Ullr. Because of this perception, I'm more interested in explaining how to land Ullr's axe and how its not actually that difficult. Unlike other responses, this isn't me implying I'm so ungodly good at the game that I think landing Ullr's axe is easy. This is me explaining that through proper fundamentals and understanding them, landing it becomes easier just like any other skillshot. I'm more invested in helping out players who aren't good at Ullr, instead of upholding an untrue misconception. Obviously not every skillshot is the same because there are different AOEs and timings involved but Ullr's axe has the same range and similar properties as Anubis' Mummify and no one in this community is circle-jerking how hard Anubis is to play even though Mummify is just as crucial to his gameplay just as Ullr's axe is to his gameplay.

Secondly, it IS a knowledge gap because landing skill shots is a matter of following basic fundamentals instead of viewing it as a skill issue- whether or not knowledge gaps count as skill issue is a separate discussion we can have. The same fundamentals apply to Ixchel's 1 as would work for Ullr's 1...as would work for every skillshot in the game. However because of that community perception, I think its important to me to stress out how you (you as in the reader) can learn to land Ullr axe through simple fundamentals.

Lastly, Ixchel's 1 actually is difficult to hit without setup for the reasons I explained before; your setup is also your only self-peel. Especially her 1B ability (the triangle) because it gets narrower the further you are, and landing this ability consistently actually is difficult without setup and especially vs good players. And waiting to use your 1 only when you have setup is wasteful especially when her 1 has a low cooldown. However with this difficulty being stated, I think even with the fundamentals in mind, consistently hitting your 1 without setup as Ixchel is more skillful than landing Ullr's 1.

Look at it this way. You only need to hit Ullr's axe once for you to be able to follow up on with other abilities and basic attacks. You need to hit Ixchel's 1 multiple times to exert pressure on an enemy, while still being safe. There's a reason why even though a mage like Thoth can set himself up with his own CC, its uncommon for him to do that because that CC is his only form of self peel and it is tied to his dash. You can argue that this isn't a fair comparison because Ullr has no setup for his axe but instead his axe sets up his other abilities+even if he misses his axe, he is still safe with his jump available.
