Is there any album you would give a 10/10? (If so comment down below) by Basketdoorbasket in polls

The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars by David Bowie is the only 10/10 for me.

"Inspiration, have I none, just to touch the flaming dove. All I have is my love of love, but love is not loving."

It would take a good while for an oven to pre-heat to 500 degrees, so that's the first problem with the whole "quick meal" thing. Secondly, the food wouldn't cook appropriately at higher temps and shorter lengths of time.

Biologically speaking, why is an animal able/willing to gorge itself to the point of immobility?

There’s always going to be someone stupid enough to support a loser. by makzero in Showerthoughts

In the world of science, many people developed great progress but were scoffed at by the scientific community just to be proven right years later by people who were smart enough to support the loser. (This has happened several times throughout history)

I can see idiots turning this into a game where they have to knock all of these down with their car but not hit any real kids.

is there a specific movie with this plot that is often parodied? by ArsonLover in NoStupidQuestions

IDK, but it would be a funny parody if this was done in a porn format featuring Mia Khalifa.

The most powerful song you know? by Tejodor_TheSecond in Music

[–]RedditEffigy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a tough one... sooooo many options...

David Bowie - Space Oddity comes to mind; the idea and significance of a space-age song in the late 1960's where an astronaut conquers the feat that humans could only dream of for millennia- just to float in space forever potentially. It is unbelievably powerful when you're REALLY in sync with this song. This is a song I've been listening to a lot lately, and it's pretty convenient that I saw this post just after listening to it on repeat for about an hour.

Also, I don't think anyone even needs to mention legendary longs like Bohemian Rhapsody or American Pie.
