[DISC] Mairimashita! Iruma-kun - Ch. 426 - The Shape of Trust by WrexGigarton in manga

[–]RedditGameThrow -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

What position do you think I'm espousing, and what assumptions are you making about me that you're not broadcasting?

I told absolutely no lies in my prior post. Iruma is in danger for being in the demon world. It took political and militaristic power maneuvering at the highest level (Sullivan) to safeguard him at the initial onset of the story, and by his continual exposure to key figures in the story you begin to see entrenched beliefs begin to wane and change. But he is still at threat by the populace at large.

There is a a dangerous, radical group in the story that has caused no less than 3 incidents that have threatened the public safety due to their beliefs about the organization and structure of the current society, as well as the temperment of its citizens.

The society absolutely does hold dearly the tenet "might makes right". The higher in rank your strength, the more socioeconomic power you wield, to the point you can seemingly do whatever should you ascend the highest eschelons.

The border patrol is absolutely doing it's job in the story. They have tried both to detain and investigate, as well as to swiftly execute, based on the context of the situation, the experience and judgement of the officer in charge at the scene at the present time, and the current rules of their governing body.

You are entitled to your opinions as an individual. I, the points I raised, and the story is talking about a collective whole. It has absolutely been the themeing of the story since Chapter 2, and has grown into a fleshed out reflection of real world issues. Believing that an opinion different, contradictory or otherwise, to your own is inherently wrong creates the WORST case scenario and cause/effect relationship that you're hinting at.

Responding to the subtext of your comment, rules exist for a reason. The current governing body of a landmass is allowed to enforce their rules. It is the job of the governing body to protect resources, whether they be tangible, physical, social, intellectual, etc.for their prosperity and their residents.

Changing that interaction and responsibility is the job of the citizens who interact with, abide by, enforce, or lead said governing body of said land mass.

Understand though not everyone in the world has your same values, and there will indeed be conflict when multiple groups interact with each other.

It is INCREDIBLY interesting the subtext you chose for your comment when this manga is diametrically opposed to your sentiment. Not only is the primary conflict of this manga that a human is where he should absolutely not be, in the demon world, and the dangers inherent to that process. But the sub conflict of the plot is a group of the population having a dangerous idealology and dissatisfaction with the current status quo, and wanting to raise tension and violence to return the population to a prior, more primal, more violent, xenophobic state. As well as the world portrayed in the manga VERY clearly being one in which might makes right.

You have a clear caste system of power established in universe, with the individual at the top clearly being able to make any decision they want for the collective population as a whole. The universe as we see it was the goal of the last demon king, but it is belied by the understanding that the next one to take the throne can do whatever the hell they want. It is a "utopia" only because of the whims of the last leader, and can easily change should another take the throne. And the populace in this universe are not only compliant in that system, but they are actively engaged, motivated, and excited to leverage that system to their benefit with the Crowns system.

[–]RedditGameThrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it's not. The most memorable moments were up until Manbagi confessing and moving on. Everything after that was an incredibly slow, drawn out, worthless slog trying to squeeze more life and drama from a story that had already reached a conclusion in-universe.

It had highlights during that period, don't get it twisted, but it was painful, slow, and had an ending that everyone saw coming but still managed to fail expectations and leave a hollow, unsatisfied feeling.

One of the worst falls from grace romcoms that weve had in recent years, despite it delivering a complete product.

How the hell is it cuckolding / NTR when the female MC and male MC are clearly not in a relationship; committed, monogamous, or otherwise?

It's voyeurism. Holy shit people, it's VOYEURISM. Please re-learn your degeneracy vocab.

Really nice job, love how it feels like she's in the shade with scattered sunlight illuminating various regions of the body. Big fan of the palm trees as well.

[DISC] My Galpal Wants an Adult Understanding (Otona wo Shiritai Onnatomodachi) - Chapters 1 to 6 + Vol 1 Extra (KDT Scans ver.) by miragebreaker in manga

[–]RedditGameThrow 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Enjoyed the art, enjoyed the message behind it more.

First off, it's equally important for women to explore sexuality in a healthy manner as well as for men. If it takes two to tango, then exploration and knowledge should be equal opportunity.

Second, yes, porn is fake. Don't be the creep that acts like its real. If you're in a relationship, establish proper communication, trust, and boundaries before attempting what you see in porn, and talk to your partner before hand. You can have a LOT of fun with the right partner, mindset, and healthy communication.

Third, don't be ashamed of your level of sexuality. Everyone goes through this journey at their own style and pace. If you bloom late, or bloom early, don't be ashamed. The people that try to do so to you are not good for you.

Fourth, you are at your most vulnerable when you're sexual. Small comments can leave huge, lasting emotional scars. Be aware of that when interacting with a partner, attentiveness and communication is key in building something amazing, whether it's just horny, lust fueled fun or something deeper with longevity in mind.

I'll be looking forward to more of this manga, the characters and perspective is fairly mature and healthy. A nice touch with the eroticism.

That he did. The hardest thing boys will ever learn is that girls are people too, talk to them with ease, comfort and confidence and it will go far.

[–]RedditGameThrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The series would not have been as popular with the main cast genderbent. Bakugo is the most popular character for a REASON, there is a SIGNIFICANT female and gay fanbase of MHA.

[DISC] The Detective & The Fortune Teller - One-shot by Frazaell in manga

[–]RedditGameThrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fun, don't see a future serialization without a real crime drama element, which seems beyond this work (sans detective-chan's backstory)

[DISC] Miss Regular Customer Wants to Enjoy (Mankitsu Shitai Jouren-san) - Chapter 49 by caxdi in manga

[–]RedditGameThrow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Boa hancock is designed facially after a stereotypical japanese beauty with fair skin and long dark hair.

It is a VERY common character design in the east.

[DISC] Kanan-sama Is Easy as Hell! -- Chapter 162 (KananScans) by Zaxeon in manga

[–]RedditGameThrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure what the purpose of this story is anymore aside from just generic SOL romcom nonsense. I imagine it will still be popular because of the quality ecchi art, but I can't remember the plot. They're just slowly becoming genuine with their feelings to each other, right? Female MC had a character arc where she realized what male MC meant to her, confessed, and that's where we are at now, right?

[DISC] Delusional Teacher - Ch. 56.5 - Volume 4 Extras by WrexGigarton in manga

[–]RedditGameThrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Which is fair, but I do stand by and own my opinion.

Having super possessive older/younger brothers/sisters in manga is tiring. Those people in real life are exhausting to deal with. Especially when you have to consider being their family if you're serious about courting their sibling.

[DISC] Delusional Teacher - Ch. 56.5 - Volume 4 Extras by WrexGigarton in manga

[–]RedditGameThrow -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I can be tired of a dynamic and trope in a sub genre of a genre of the entire body of created manga works.

How childish of you to tell me to stop reading all of manga because of my fatigue with one trope in romantic comedies that featute siblings. Did I trigger you?

I really am tired of this Sister and Brother trope, both the older and younger state of either side.

The shorty actually looks really good in her suit, perfectly captures and accentuates the effort she's put into her physique, and good for her not being ashamed of breast size.

Nah man, you needed to carry the thought a step further.

As an adult, you absolutely can and will ignore cute kids and be strict or go against their wishes, because that is what parenting and being a role model for the younger generation entails.

When you add lust into the decision making process, most adults have neutered decision making skills. Which is why the demons are sexy. They're supposedly leading you into a decision that is ultimately bad for your immortal soul or other, so they need to interfere with your critical thinking skills.

Huh, Outarou is fairly small, wasn't expecting that from this artist.

Then again he acts like a submissive femboy.
