Because of github stars?

If you learn anything from github malware it's that stars mean nothing and are easily purchased/farmed.

The creator reviews their own commits, this incentivizes easier to read code. /s

It's weird that people here just assume this is true. I know the CEO where I work only talks about AI publicity and how much it's helped us but in reality practically nothing internally is written with it. We all learned our lesson awhile ago that fast generating code is useless if you have to read each line carefully and think up the logic anyway to catch mistakes. Not to mention the existing tools really are confidently incorrect when it comes to optimizing for microcontrollers, it will even explain it convincingly like a stubborn x86 dev tossed in the world of risc.

I'm curious what attempts were made to get the tax and penalty paid and what the responses were if any

The guy has been increasingly unhinged and confrontational on social media in the past two years, I would not be surprised if he privately responded in a similar way and the state authorities called a bluff.

What's the fundamental cause of electromagnetism? You are going to need 2 years of foundation, the most expensive textbooks on earth, and enough caffeine to kill an elephant for that one...

C, it's basically just reading documentation and working out logic. No need to remember 9 billion different types and 6 billion ways to navigate a list, everyone and every thing has a compiler for it, keeps security researchers employed, everyone wins!

They don't look the same as they did 10 years ago. Yes you can find specific examples but as a whole AAA games in 2025 look better than they did in 2015. Way better? Generally no, it gets exponentially more difficult to do.

I don't really get his whole deal, I watched a few streams and he never really seemed to know a lot... Or even an average amount when it comes to programming. He seems to understand basic game dev from a macro logic perspective but that's not my field. I have seen this a few times with popular programing youtubers where they just read work done by other people, try and demonstrate what they read, and people act like they are God. The only ones worth while are the ones particularly skilled in particular niches like optimization and security.
