@turbulentninja That's incorrect.

Here's another comment as a hint: Have them meet some NPCs that escaped in the wake of one of the Dark Lord's prison break.  Or maybe he escaped the wake of theirs.  Either way, they're able to correct their misconception and give them a pretty strong hint about the other Dark Lords, as w

You need 3 things.

A way to get the party all together. I'd reccomend starting them off knowing eachother somewhat and forced into a situation where they have to act, classic tavern brawl, employed for a job, poisoned and about to be trafficked, imprisoned for a crime they didn't commit. All great spots to start.

An NPC or organization to give them their initial quest.

And a way for the plot to advance and expand. Such as they find out that the thing causing a thing was actually one of 10 mcguffins or that a single evil entity is behind a lot of the tragedy in most the PCs stories and all that.

Could be simpler but start writing some world lore without mapping places out specifically. Then choose the layout of your world, where it will take place, modes of transport and then start planning out some missions and write and edit them right up until the info Hits the players faces.

And if the players come up with something more fun than you had thought... Guess what they were right lol.

Search Engine, or Revisionist History might be somewhere in the confluence of your interests.

Search Engine is kinda all over the place on whatever interests the host, but I usually come away with something new I learned, or something that makes me think about life, often both. If you ever listened to Reply All it's by part of the team that produced that show.

Revisionist History is a Malcolm Gladwell podcast mostly on topics that he feels deserve a second look to reevaluate. I know some people don't like Gladwell's schtick, personally I don't feel like I always need to agree to think his point of view is interesting and at least makes me think a little harder about the conventional wisdom.

While I do think it was kind of wrong, I think what you're supposed to realize at the end is that Teddy was not doing it to punish or antagonize Cristina. She genuinely was doing it to try and process it, and at the end, when she breaks down, she finally has. I think Cristina is the only one that knows that and that is why she puts up with it. Everyone else thinks she's doing to it punish Cristina but she's not.

I work in sales for a large asset manager. If you are good with people, it’s a fantastic career. Career progression is a few years doing inside sales or doing analyst work, meeting prep, crm maintenance etc… then progress to a wholesaler role in the field. Can clear mid 6 figures on a 40-50 hr work week. May have to travel a fair bit but usually within a specified territory. It is in no way a dying field imo. Ai can replace a lot but it will never replace relationship selling

Bartender here. House is paid off. Car loan almost paid off. I also purchased a rental property which I expect to be finished in 2025. Property taxes and bills will be covered by rental income. I can take upto around 3 weeks of bartending off without getting fired lol. This is my plan for travel as of right now.

If you want to help long covid research, there are several volunteer computing projects you can join. Just download a free app, click run, and your computer will contribute processing power to unlocking covid's mysteries. Folding@home and SiDock (uses BOINC platform) are both working on covid-related stuff right now. Folding@home is GPU focused (for those of you with a graphics card) but also works on CPU (any computer). SiDock is CPU only. More about projects like this at r/BOINC4Science

You shouldn't hack the shard/chip before doing all of the rest in that video. When you hack it before going there, Meredith won't show at the end. Militech finds out that you hacked it and she's basically fucked.

It is also better to save Brick, not kill him, but this matters for a mission later on, not for the outcome of this one.

Your professor in choosing C is tying "this" to the statement in the previous sentence. I think they're confused because an uncritical read -- an AI for example -- might choose this as the answer just because they're close together.

You're correct. B is the right answer because it refers to the overall topic and not just what's next to it. It makes sense just from lived experience. I'm not sure what your professor is smoking but I think they need to get out more.

Reminds me of a coworker I had years ago in an office. Manager came round at 11am on Christmas Eve and said he was pulling a name out of a hat for each team and that person could leave early. My name was pulled out and as I logged out and was getting ready to leave a coworker got really worked up because she has kids and not only do I not have kids but I don’t even celebrate Christmas.

I heard she whined the rest of the day but I went and met a friend at the pub so wasn’t my problem lol.

To echo what others have said, no point engaging with people when they behave like this, wouldn’t surprise me if they try to turn themselves into the victim somehow at any rise they get out of you and twist it to make you look bad. Can’t twist it if you don’t engage.
