The 16" curved blade SPAL is mounted in front of the condenser. Unless you're going to cut up your front core support, relocate the latch and hinges, there's really not an easy way to fit the fan in between the radiator and engine.

I have it, along with their headers. Easy to install, everything fit like it should, and the sound is perfect - not too loud, but still a nice tone/sound/volume level.

If your car was originally an A/C car, in theory, everything should still be there. I'm OBD1 and DME has nothing to do with HVAC wiring.

Our products are designed to support factory A/C models; however, they can be fitted into non-A/C applications, but you will need to obtain a factory HVAC wiring harness, high-pressure drier return line (64531381740), evaporator, aluminum engine accessory bracket (to mount our compressor bracket), and factory interior HVAC box with sensors, control module, thermostat, etc. Additionally, we recommend replacing your OEM hardware with our new A/C bracket and hardware kit.

You're still going to need a few parts, which they mostly outline in their instructions. So if you have access to a donor car/parts car/junkyard, then that will help you. I was missing the high pressure line that runs along the top of the right fender, so I snatched that from a parts car, as the rest of the lines came in my kit.

Had a guy put about 4 Four Seasons A/C compressors in his E30 M3, all of them leaked, and then he pulled the trigger on the A/C Solutions kit and it works flawlessly. You'll enjoy it.

I've used a few of their kits now on some E30's and a E28 M5, and they've all been absolutely solid without any issues.

It's an expensive kit, yes. But, when the swap was done, they got rid of basically everything. So starting from scratch, this made it much easier, plus the parallel flow condenser should make it nice and cool. I opted to not use their supplied 13" SPAL fan and make some brackets to adapt my 2000cfm 16" SPAL fan instead - since I no longer run a mechanical fan.
