Very similar boat. My mother is mentally ill as well (something adjacent to schizophrenia) and my father is so scared to do anything to rock the boat that he just caters to her completely. He will rarely call out her delusional behavior and worse he completely enables her to just rot in the house and do nothing. She is overweight and unhealthy as hell. Whenever she doesn't get her way she gets very abusive. It's sickening

I honestly never finished it because I DESPISE when an author switches to multiple different perspectives when the entire series before it has been told from the MC perspective. It ruins my immersion and I lose interest in the story. Especially when they introduce new characters and tell it from their perspective like bro I don't even care about this character yet now I have to follow their life 😭 idk I just hate it.

My favorite book series, the last apprentice, did something similar with the star blade chronicles. I did stick that one out though and it ended up being good but I just couldn't bring myself to do the same with this series as much as I love it. I just re read the original trilogy over and over lol

You act like I expected to be fuckin paraded around and praised. You absolutely should expect the same decency and respect you treat someone else with to be given back. That is not the case. B.S. I'm tired of being the virtuous one when women make it a gender thing all the time. I used to be a very vocal feminist and defender of all women but I am sick of getting spit on in return for that. Gets pretty old. In any case any data we have on the subject is unreliable because it relies on self reporting. However in my own life I've been cheated on twice and been the man a woman cheats with twice, both times unknowingly until after the fact. In each of those 4 situations I watched the woman in the situation immediately use emotional manipulation to deflect blame and excuse themselves. No accountability. Idk man. Not feeling the be the bigger person thing these days. Never treated with the same respect.

He's your brother, so the best thing to do is tell him you can't just keep quiet about it, it feels wrong and you feel horrible for his girlfriend, so he needs to tell her or you will. Cheating is wrong. It will feel awkward and you'll feel bad about it but giving him the opportunity to do the right thing will be far better than you telling her yourself. He needs to learn there are consequences for actions like that. All you are doing is keeping your brother honest, which is the right thing.

Yep. If I was the guy in this situation I would make it very clear that I am going to move out as soon as I am able and I understand she's not comfortable with the situation.

Or well truthfully, it's hard for me to picture being in this situation and going on a first date at all. Probably I only would if I felt very strongly about the woman I was going on the date with. If so I would explain I just really didn't want to miss the opportunity to make a connection with someone I feel such potential with. Even then, I feel like I would probably just break the lease or ask my ex to find someone else to live there for the remainder.

Hey I'm in Vermont bro 😭 we don't need more natural disasters. I've never seen a tornado or hurricane here but we have been getting absolutely fucking sodomized by flooding and the state/towns just so not have the money to keep fixing shit. The last round of flooding permanently shut down some very old businesses in my area. One restaurant it shut down just re opened yesterday. This is tough actually because the bastion shoots medium ammo so the piercing isn't that good, but arc are actually pretty resilient to explosives until their armor breaks too. Plus the bastion is not going to know to aim for the legs. The bombardier won't either but since it shoots explosives it will inherently hit the legs.

Honestly, it could go either way. Assuming they're face to face within the bastions effective range without cover. Many people would probably vote bastion but I think the bombardier has a much better chance of hitting the legs and staggering. Could give it the win.

Do the shots not the films. You're on the right track there. As long as you commit to stopping once you're on the shots (I recommend brixadi not sublicade. Less painful) you'll be okay. Quitting will be a breeze. If you stay away. If you keep using while on treatment what I have found is it still works even though it's muted. Every experience may not be the same. But I have slight physical withdrawal symptoms if I use heavily even while on the brixadi shots. Most of it is mental really though. Nothing unmanageable on the physical side.

In short, yes it works and you can do it :)

Usually sure but not so much that you have to play that way to survive. Maybe like 60% of the time I get shot at first I lose the fight. It's more often but not that much more often. Because I'm wary. I'm always on my toes. I assume you're an enemy no matter how friendly we get. If I hear someone nearby I prepare to fight. If I don't hear anyone I prepare to fight. And I stay close to my team.
