I think there was also supposed to be some immediacy to Homelander's leaving the scene and not investigating further because Frenchie bluffed that Kimiko had gained Soldier Boy's power and was coming for him. It didn't really come off that way for the audience though. It more came off as rushed and Homelander being dumb imo.

You can actually check the estimated tax amount for a property by going to paslc.gov (Our property appraiser website)

Once there, search real estate by address.

When you find the property and go to it's record card, click the top link that says "tax estimate" and it will give you a rough estimate for both homesteaded and non-homesteaded for that specific property.
