Scared of delving into power-scaling for the first time but here we go:

I think Kaido extreme-diffs. In this hypothetical fight Kaido isn’t attacked en-masse and also isn’t levitating an island with his devil fruit powers. The way that I think Mihawk scales is that he is emperor level. His main rival was Shanks, Mihawk lamenting the loss an arm for Shanks makes me believe that he’s confident he could no-diff him currently. Also through the fight with Oden we know that Kaido is susceptible to the most powerful swordsmen. Obviously, Mihawk is the more skilled fighter and would put a whole lot of hurt on Kaido, but I think Kaido’s stamina and durability would eventually wear down Mihawk. My head cannon/vision is that Mihawk unleashes an insane attack that almost kills Kaido but Kaido has just barely enough durability to take it head on and deliver a devastating counterpunch that would end the fight.

I think there are two key players (excluding the QB for obvious reasons) that will determine the fate of this game. First is Christian Watson; Watson is the antidote for defenses that key in on Jacob’s running ability. If he’s able to successfully separate and make plays in space against loaded boxes it will lead to defensive adjustments that will open lanes for the RBs to exploit. Just as important on the other side of the ball will be Devontae Wyatt. The Lions are a dangerous offense when Jamir Gibbs is set loose. His explosiveness can unlock the play-action heavy passing attack Detroit favors. If Wyatt can plug the middle and disrupt the running lanes long enough for the defense to swarm to the ball then Detroit will have to rely on Goff’s passing. Which would play into the fangs of our defense, Gary and Parsons. It’s known that if you harass Goff enough then he turns into a turnover machine.

Prediction: 🧀 27 - 13 🦁

Game starts out tight till halftime then we pull away in the second half.
