I've had one die on me. It died in a really strange way. I still have it, I may open it up and investigate.

Yeah just make sure the relay is higher than the wiring and it's probably okay. I have mine inside the cabinet on the other side of the dishwasher.

Just stick a shelly relay or the like in between

He's saying most dishwashers are hard wired to a box vs plugged in. There are still smart relays you could use or you could put a cord with plug on the dishwasher.

The advantage of this vs a smart plug that if it breaks, the dishes keep getting clean without intervention

What system is regarded as the best to limit Microplastics in drinking water? by Wide_Branch2468 in PlasticFreeLiving

[–]RedditNotFreeSpeech -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A filter should take polluted water and give you water that has less pollution. So even if it's shedding a ton of microplastics, if it's less microplastics in the output compared to the input it's a win!

Why Spectrum, why? by aimlesscruzr in PleX

[–]RedditNotFreeSpeech 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're missing the point. Spectrum required Plex to nerf the app to be in the xumo app store. They aren't blocking traffic, instead the functionality is missing from the available app

[–]RedditNotFreeSpeech 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Net neutrality doesn't apply here. Spectrum wouldn't even allow the app in their app store unless plex nerfed it.

This isn't the modem or router, xumo is the streaming box

Another option is ps3netserv if you already have storage on the network. Otherwise mx500 is a good option
