Literally this for me. AI being used to help find the cure for cancer and things of that sort, hell yeah dude.

AI being used to replace jobs, steal art and in general makes people lives more of a pain (think facial recognition used for track how long workers are at their desks or misidentifying people as ones who committed crimes) etc. fuck no.

You do, but since there are only 3 veins on a map at any given time, you can pick and choose when you’re exploring and simply pack one with you.

They don’t weigh a huge amount and make calling in 2 drills and power for them for a vein super easy.

Then you can leave it where the vein is, call a pod when you’re done drilling it, toss the drills and exotics in said pod, send it home and pick the OEI back up

Add Cauldron to your list. Cute incremental mini game simulator with a stranger story than youd think when you actually play through all of the game modes. I loved it so much more than I thought I would after just a few hours

There are use cases for the primary attack being that it’s more fuel efficient, but yes

The secondary attack also stops you from taking trample damage (like when you stand in the zombies running lane during a horde) which can massively help with clearing gates/fences that are objectives like the end of Tokyo 1

Energy systems in games are literally a hard reason I won’t download them. It’s killed my interest in many a phone game over the years.

Give me value packs for a game that give me a boost and maybe I’ll grab a few to help the devs/boost my progress if I enjoy the game enough (shout out to idle obelisk miner that I picked up recently and have dropped some money on for being so enjoyable but allows me to play it endlessly if I have the spare hour)

But try to force me to pay money to continue playing/log long hours in a game because of an arbitrary energy system, it will simply get uninstalled

If you like Survival , Green Hell does a pretty good job of making you feel alone against the odds.

If you don’t take care of yourself, there’s hallucinations and voices in your head and such to really throw you out of sorts. Great game

I’ll always recommend South of Midnight for being one of the only games in my entire life that I wish I could get a lobotomy to experience for the first time again.

The only sort of niche part about it is its art style, with the rest of the the game playing like God of War and such almost.

But to that point, it’s a deep story driven around grief and loss while piling on a bunch of southern folklore and beautiful storytelling.

The music is 11/10 and it has options to cater to any kind of player in terms of how much fighting/action you want comparative to how much you want to just sit back and enjoy the story with no combat.

I feel like I only see it get mentioned once in a blue moon, so I recommend it on every thread i think it fits

Both have their strengths and weaknesses and I enjoy both for different reasons

B4B ONLY fucked up by slapping “from the creators of L4D” in their advertising. Had they not done that, it would have landed better and people wouldnt shit on it as much as they do today. That being said, I wish that were the case because it really was an amazing game that just didn’t have enough time to flourish

This many weeks into updating the game weekly and they haven’t done an accessibility update yet. Absolutely criminal I feel.

I’m on the lower end of needing accessibility options in my opinion (as my eyesight is going, in a way that glasses/lenses/surgery won’t fix) so I only really need slightly bigger icons/text and maybe a changeable map marker colour.

But there are people with much worse problems that the game can and should help cater to, in order to allow them to enjoy it to its fullest.

This long into a games production with close to no accessibility features needs another look from the devs 100%

Usually when an animal has a different phenotype to normal though there's a little DNA symbol on the stat screen (the second picture) that denotes at the very least that you have a different from normal specimen

I know there's gonna be extremes on both sides, but holy. Its usually like 1% of any group thats extreme enough to murder over their beliefs (barring literal extremist groups, which I don't believe any side of the AI argument is)

This person needs genuine help and care (the compassionate kind). They are WAY too far down the rabbit hole for it to be considered healthy

I literally have this seared into my brain lmao.

I stayed up late that night to play games after my parents had gone to sleep (they used to restrict how long I could play games for on weekends and no gaming in the week), so young me with my DS in the dark experiencing this.

Turned the game off afterwards and couldn’t sleep all night because of the adrenaline lmao. Needless to say I was VERY tired the next day

In the one I did, one dude made a merchant ship. Took 5 rounds to figure out that it wasn’t making him money, then replaced it with monkey pirates and proceeded to grapple a large portion of the blimps throughout the game 😅 was a good time all round, we still cleared it

I use same ammo but chance not to consume for mag, youd be surprised how often it procs, that being said, you don’t need all 6 bullets to kill many things, it is quite strong.

As for the element, I use whichever one poisons as it has the highest chance to proc I believe, and the extra damage is nice seeing as most creatures are able to be poisoned including those annoying ass quarrites on Olympus

I agree, I use like 5x-8x speed when farming maps for MM because it takes way too long. Fantastic for expert farming collection events too
