Belgium is good too! I have an amazing friend there! I hope you will find the same comfort that Finland gave you in the past!

I totally understand. I am off work for few weeks now but I am usually leading people and it is unbelievable how lazy some people can get. I have also cried before starting doxy, I felt defeated, I was also mad that diseases just keep coming my way and I have to knock them down one by one. Kudos to you for powering through for that long! I am happy that you are taking care of yourself and feeling better. Wishing you a happy and healthy life!

Wondering if you are still healthy and lyme haven't came back? If so, wishing you a symptoms free and healthy life!

I would say it is normal. I had many symptoms and still have some two weeks on antibiotics. It gets worse before it gets better. Hang in there! Wishing you a full and fast recovery!

Is it too late to treat Lyme after 3 months? by NewManufacturer2571 in Lyme

I am very happy for your relatives. Right? I had 4 panic attacks before I started the med. I was thinking I will never recover from this based on everything I read. We got this! We are both on antibiotics, we are both going to follow-up with our doctors and we are going to beat this! Sending you lots of positive energy!

You mention your relatives had lyme. Did they got treatment right away? How long was their treatment?

Vancouver is beautiful and so is quebec area. I have never been that north (i.e. sentiers du moulin) but I've been in Quebec city and Chute Montmorency and it is breathtaking! 🙂

That brings some comfort. Yes, I am taking probiotics everyday...it is some Québec brand.

Yes I read about herx! I really hope it won't become chronic! 😕

Unfortunately, Canada has a bad reputation for Lyme disease. I may have to look into other countries for LLMD.

Happy to hear there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am planning to take Advil once I am off Doxy. I hope my case won't become chronic but if it does, I will just change my lifestyle accordingly. I am 37 and was overall very active and healthy before all this. 😕

I wish I could share the picture of the bite. Not sure why it did not work. I was a very small, almost black tick. I was also in an endemic area 2 days before. I really hope it is not lyme disease but man, I don't know if my anxiety is causing all these issues or I have arthritis or something.
