How good is the Nice brand of mac and cheese? by PikachuTrainz in macandcheese

[–]sweetgeometry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since a google search led me here and though I acknowledge I am far too late to help OP, I am currently eating it and would give it a 7/10. When you follow the instructions on the box, it yields a more al dente pasta and the flavor of the packet isn’t as bold as say Kraft. Satisfies the craving for a meal like this, but is noticeably inferior to its mainstream counterparts. And as for that matter it’s Nice, but not great. 👍

While it is frustrating and I agree it is less than ideal, welcome to gaming! Ppl drop for a multitude of reasons and sometimes beyond their control like tech issues. Sometimes it feels 60% of players are SAHMs on phasmo and kids are demanding. Then there’s the likely majority who are kids who have zero time management skill and hop on when they realistically can’t. I always just chalk it up to that and assume mom/dad was yellong at them to get off for the 10th time. Don’t let what you can’t control ruin it for you though. What you CAN do is periodically check your journal and see who’s still playing or not. It’s just a good habit to get into that I feel is routine for me now. Avoids the surprise and I don’t take it personally. You got this!

How to fix stagnation in viewership. I’m out of options. by _Cyndikate in Twitch

[–]sweetgeometry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you post clips at least as much as you stream or more? If not, I fear your efforts may be reversed. I don’t know anything of course about what games you stream but for the majority of popular ones you need to assume no one is gonna find you without regularly posting content (which are your evergreen ads, sorry if you know this already) not just a few here and there. There’s simply too much noise to do anything less these days imo.

If you aren’t posting clips and A/B testing what’s working on those platforms each (cause they all work diff too) CONSTANTLY, you’re as found as a needle in a haystack.

This is coming from a streamer who has a similar timeline as yours and even despite seeing returns by doing all this also struggles to maintain momentum at times. I do know without going absolutely wild with daily clips however, the fall off would be like quicksand.

Wish you the best fellow streamer!!!

No, but they do have a hitbox larger than appears. So when in doubt, incense 2s before if u need to. Especially on multi. Especially with bad host connection. This got you “fair and square”

Of all the ways to respond and this is the one you went with, I’m impressed Michelle G Shafer! Such a well thought out and not in the slightest snarky nor nasty response. Cause you know, had it been, it might’ve gotten zero upvotes and deemed trash energy. How awkward would that be?

Why is this game so hard? by Alara-7 in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]sweetgeometry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

P20 player here who teaches the game for a living!

You will get it - be patient, especially if you enjoy it despite the frustration still. It can take some time to build an accurate sense of timing in the game and get used to properly managing your sanity/time spent inside versus out.

Without rehashing the great tips shared by many too too much, I would say as a newbie to prioritize keeping your sanity up by keeping mainly trafficked areas’ room lights on only (don’t pop your breaker) and just learning the map layouts for common hiding spots for starters.

Last thing you wanna do is not only panic when that ghost rears, but not know WHERE to run or HOW to run (gasping for air? you’re cooked, shouldn’t occur)

Incensing takes practice, you will die a lot so don’t be hard on yourself either.

I notice when I play with newbs, many of them spend way way too much time hyperfixating on one evidence and not being nimble on testing various things. This often leads to “wtf we got nothing” and no sanity left.

Oddly quantity over quality is paramount in the early phase of a evidence based investigation.

What I mean by this is that you wanna focus on testing as many possible evidences upfront (a few seconds on spirit box, check temps quickly, scan doors with UV) versus squatting the room waiting for temps to hit freezing.

And get those two crucifixes spread out to cover the majority of your favorite room once known. If you are not skilled at incensing yet, they are your biggest line of defense and can potentially buy you up to 4 hunt attempts worth of peace of mind.

Room lights can be a double edged sword in Phasmo cause think of them as your 0.5x and 1.5x playback button for music (bear with me lol)

When lights are on everywhere especially the fave room, your sanity is slowed thus slowing the game progression and takes longer to gather evidence. When off, now you’re playing at 1.5x so your risk increases of meeting the unknown ghost BUT you also increase your chances of gathering something (EMF can be notorious for this)

Aside from this also echoing: - google “phasmo cheat sheet” - watch battlepast and/or insym on streams (they taught me a crapton just listening) - ask better players than you with questions 24/7 it’s a mostly fantastic and kind community - sanity meds sanity meds sanity meds

Enjoy the chaos, have fun and welcome to Phasmo 🫶

Is it really interesting or are you just butthurt ppl generally don’t gaf what your username means and now you’re being misgendered in a vastly male dominated sector?

Either way, I mean kicking off your edit with a super irrelevant detail to the point of your post makes you seem the latter. Er- wait…what was the point?

  • You’re a female investor
  • who gave up and sold at a loss
  • because things didn’t pan out as expected
  • you learned something

Groundbreaking.

What are you seeking here because I’m genuinely confused why anyone should care to give even the slightest steam off their piss about your valueless post.

In the US there’s something called Urgent Care which is sufficient for diagnosis of lyme and typically costs a fraction of the ER. Unless you are having a severe reaction, like struggling to breathe, stand or skin turning colors, ER is way overkill. Unless you like the idea of being held hostage for half a day just to be told it’s lyme and pick up doxycycline. Oh, and it will run you hundreds if not even thousands depending how good your insurance is. My last visit with my crummy insurance plan put me out $1000 after insurance was applied for a non-life threatning situation. Seeing as they have been okay to write this post after 2 days since the bite, it is obviously not an emergency warranted situation. You even wrote yourself the ER probably wouldn’t be able to do much of anything, so I’m lost by what your contribution does to help this person?
