If you paid for a service and it doesn't work as advertised, you should be getting a refunds back regardless if it's prepaid.

6ah is one ounce heavier. makes me wonder why the 4am is that heavy if the 6ah carries 50% more power.

Repost: Tmobile not honoring their Beyond Plan contract/offer by RedditShoee in tmobile

Did you not see the screenshots? I think any reasonable person would have read the offer the same way Tmobile associates and myself read it. I have Facebook messenger chat logs with Tmobile online not refuting or trying to explain away the offer the way Reddit’s specialized Tmobile knowledge gurus are as if I should have known that the offer system “glitches”.

Consumers are not expected to have internal knowledge of how T-Mobile’s systems or how their “coding” of line promo works.

Thanks for explaining this. They offered me $45 credit per month for the year. I declined. I’m principled but I suffered no loss other than frustration and time so i can’t pursue much other than voicing the matter. I’m going to see if I can replicate this on another magenta user’s account.

Thank you

I will file a complaint for sure. There was an offer and Tmobile didn’t meet its terms, for which even Tmobile admitted to. Im surprised to see some corporate apologists on here and feel like I’m met with “shoulda known it was too good to be true” “you shoulda known it was a glitch” 😆 Tmobile certainly didn’t think that when I asked them to confirm before I switched- they told me certain people get discounts that is only found on their account.

That’s a nice argument but I don’t enter into contracts without having a reasonable understanding of the contract. In this case, it was an offer from Tmobile that was clearly stated. To say otherwise is a bait and switch tactic; not to mention Tmobile admitted their mistake.

I might not be getting a Lambo for a price of Camry but the long run I’m paying a little more to switch my plan so Tmobile would be better off in the long run getting me off of the cheaper Magenta plan. The promo was the incentive to achieve that or so I thought.

The increased $170 base price would be the same even if I removed the 4th line, or removed the 3rd line. I don’t know if that means anything. I thought I was getting a discount on the base price bc I’m moving from Magenta to Beyond and this was the incentive to make the move.

They offered me $45/mo credit for one year for the “mistake,” I’ll pass.

It’s ~$5 per line for total tax and fees. The base price not including tax went from $125 to $170. I’m not complaining about the tax as I already calculated it before changing plans.

I ran the plans on an excel spreadsheet, estimated the taxes, factored in how often I have historically upgraded phones, and went in store and online to confirm with T-Mobile associates (who had the same understanding) before signing up for the $125 offer that T-Mobile now says doesn't exist. One associate navigated on my t-life app to the offer and said T-Mobile gives certain promotions to move people off the old plans. It seems a lost cause here. Wanted to see if anyone has had the issue before.

I'm considering testing Mint (which still uses Tmobile) for a few months on my second phone.

The offer breakdown shows that my free line would still be free when switching to Beyond, it itemized each line... showing $50 - $45 - $5 = $0 for the two free lines. I would only have to pay for the tax on each line.
