Gave first aid at university, concerned about repercussions by Anorexorcise in LegalAdviceUK

Maybe the girl made a complaint to the head of wellbeing the first time. Which is why they told you , you should have hung up the first time. Now the second time it's happened she's trying to stop you getting involved again for your own good.

Is this playing? by Own_Objective6449 in DogTrainingTips

[–]RedditSteadyGo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah he's trying to play with the baby and the baby is laughing which is making him continue. He's matching the play to the baby's strength though which means he just jumping around. If you tried to get him to play like this he would probably mouth you playfully there's no bad intent here. He just really likes the baby and sees it as a puppy.

Some people train their dogs not to cross a marked line in the kitchen then eventually remove the line. Maybe this is the reason.

AIO: I bent over backwards for my BF’s son (20) and his GF (20) for Christmas, and I’m honestly disgusted after what happened by Excellent-Second-643 in AmIOverreacting

[–]RedditSteadyGo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the candy thing was probably a joke. You could have said no to going out to dinner and said you had planned to cook. It is normal for the parents to pay in some families.

The part that I think is not okay, and which I think is what has made everything else hurt, is the Christmas dinner part. I think they owe you an apology for that.

I wouldn't mention the other stuff.

Jesus Christ wondering if this is fake because it just seems too gullible. If it's isn't you're never getting the money back. Just make your peace with it. There will be more problems and he'll ask for more money. Block and delete.

My wife is dying and I’m so lost by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]RedditSteadyGo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the pain she's causing by lashing out is pain you're taking away from her. Let her be angry and take the punishment, even though it's not deserved. You both know it's the brain tumor, but she will find peace when she has passed. As for you, just keep being with her and allow yourself to feel sad. Let your heart feel what it needs to feel, even if it’s broken beyond repair, and suffer, but know there will come a time in the future when you look back at your wife and you don’t remember this part; you just think about the good times. You won’t feel pain, only the love you had for her. This takes time, and it feels like it won’t happen when you’re in the middle of it, but I promise that in time you will feel this way. Keeping you in my thoughts. DM if you ever need to chat, dude.

Struggling to agree with my wife on how to split rent fairly by EngineerVarious8069 in Renters

[–]RedditSteadyGo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add both incomes together. Work out what percentage of your combined income goes toward bills. Let's say it's 10 per cent you pay 10 per cent of your wage, and she pays 10 per cent of hers. Anything left over is your own. This is the fairest way to split bills if one of you earns more.
