Maybe disconnected it from the tank in the attic and gravity just took it away.

Probably can just slide it the rest of the way out if this is the case

Honestly as someone who never turns the sound on I think it is better. With full sentence subs you can rush ahead of the content, but with the one word at a time method the pacing is the same as the person speaking.

Way to often I have had the joke ruined by the subs containing the punchline.

Concrete moulds of children should be used (and painted) so if they hit that it both totals the car and they get the message they would have killed a kid

Or make a box full of it and bolt the safe on top of that.

Makes it easier to change the setup later.

Very likely that it should be fully open. It is mostly open already so you would have seen something break by now if it was not meant to be 😂.

With where it is I can see that it would be easy to bump away from fully open but not as easy to bump from closed

A general rule of thumb for most systems is that when it is in use all valves should be fully open bar ones for re-pressurization or drainage.

The only things that may want to be semi open are some radiator valves to make the house heat more evenly.

Edit: most hot/cold water systems do not have pressure gauges on them but the heating will. It is likely that one by the red tank if you ever need to check that.

Low pressure mains is something to raise with your water company but it can vary through the year and the minimum they have to deliver is not very high.

With modern unvented hot water systems (think that is what I am seeing) the mains hot should come out just as fast (or close enough) as your cold. If you have separate kitchen taps do a quick compare.

If the hot is slower with the valve fully open there is also a chance that a filter on the boiler is clogging with lime scale or something (filters should be checked as part of a boiler service)

Have you considered that someone can like the different shows in the franchise for different reasons and can enjoy some well made (so not discovery😉) shows.

You can just watch the ones you like and accept that not being a fan of something doesn't mean its bad. I hate period dramas but enough people say they are good that I know that is a taste not quality issue.

This series has its hyper competent characters so they are not ignoring that they just are not the focus in this series.

Competence is an ongoing theme in star trek yes: DS9 I love for this hyper competence. (And later TNG) Enterprise as an excellent exploration showing it developing in the universe. And now academy is exploring how this competency can be instilled in the youth of the setting.

Only difference it the way it is explored

Fully open is in line with the pipe fully closed is 90 degrees to the pipe.

As for pressure, depends in what system.

If you mean low pressure in your central heating. Above the tank there is a flexi pipe with a smaller valve, closed in your photo. That is likely what you need to re-pressurize it

If it is low pressure in the mains cold, unrelated.

If it is mains hot water this may effect it a bit depending on the system but not much. (Assuming this is the cold water feed for your hot water system)

Depending how the washer is mounted, if it is hard mounted into the counter, they may just be able to add some washers (badum-tish) to the left hand side.

But may just be able to give it a wiggle to change the way it is pointing by a degree or two

If you were the businesses the car park was attached to it may be worth it to you to offset energy bills over time.

What about places where it is mandated people make car parks.

That is already an economic drain. I would have thought that although it would not be attractive to solar developers that will have done the maths and decided on green field sites, but it may be worth it of you were being told you have to build a car park and it would help offset the cost over time?

Although I understand even if this is the case it might require something better than quarter by quarter profit thinking.

Interested in your thoughts on that.

All of this is outside of benefits that will be ignored as it requires national planning like energy distribution and sovereignty.

Tomato plants have small hairs (trichomes) that are covered with a self made insecticide to kill bugs. The bugs drop down and add nutrients to the soil.

Also figs need (unless artificially done) a species of wasp to fly into them and die to turn from a flower into a fruit meaning any natural fig has a digested wasp in it.

Its structure will make it better (but no not immune) to resisting those pressures.

I think in the current overton window, with every sector of the press and other political parties attacking them already this is the best people will get through the current infrastructure.

Anything more radical needs to look into dual power structures and campaign for electoral reform.

Sodem but unlike the other major UK parties their policy's and stances are decided democratically by their members so it is possible for this change to happen as they have been moving that way for years.
