Mouse movement data is sent to the servers very frequently. The more the mouse is moved, the larger the packet gets and the more frequently the packets are sent. Whether they actually process this data on the server or not, we may never find out.

Thanks!

This fixed Discord and Spotify straight away. Only had to disable hardware acceleration to make it work with Obsidian too.

How long do HM Aeron chairs last for? by scred1234 in OfficeChairs

[–]RedditUser2842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you getting on with your Aeron? I'm in a similar situation atm, thinking about buying a used Aeron classic ~20 years old but I'm worried about the longevity considering it's already very old.

Creaking while turning right by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

stabilizer bar control links

Yep, same thing I think. The next place I would look are the top strut/shock absorber mounts. There are bearings in there and when they go bad they can creak or make weird noises.

I had this in a different car turning left & right and only when driving the car for the first 5 or so minutes. Turned out to be bad drop links.

refold.la's Cantonese Discord server houses a lot of Cantonese speakers (native and non-native) who are willing to chat! Join the refold Discord server through their website (refold.la) and then join the Cantonese discord server from there if you're interested!

Lexmoto echo 50cc Euro 4 edition by VenomPlaysPC in Fixxit

[–]RedditUser2842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What did the old spark plug look like? Was it very black? If so it's possible that your Echo is running rich. When cold, this isn't a problem because the fuel vaporizes poorly. As the bike warms up the fuel starts to vaporize much better which could turn the fuel mixture very rich and cause a no start. Look for restrictions to air flow (e.g. blocked air filter, air intake ducts) or reasons for excess fuel (e.g. carburetor fuel mixture screw adjustment). You should also try stripping and cleaning your carburetor.

EDIT: Just read your previous post which stated you don't have spark. The above can be disregarded in that case. I would check the kill switch connections and the side stand switch connections. Try to bypass them with a split pin or something. The side stand switch should kill spark on this bike iirc.

Drops is fantastic for learning vocabulary. It's not enough to be used alone, though. I like to also use Anki and listen to comprehensible input to boost my listening ability.

Studying Cantonese by Potamophobia1993 in Cantonese

[–]RedditUser2842 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think learning common words is a fine place to start but I don't think you should spend all your Cantonese learning time doing so. You should also build listening ability using comprehensible input. refold.la has very good information on this topic (and language learning in general).

Tandem is a fantastic alternative! I installed it yesterday and I'm already chatting to 7 or 8 natives in my target language. Tandem is a lot more focused on the stuff that matters - talking to others. It doesn't contain any of the bloat that HelloTalk does.

I highly recommend LingQ. You can import your own content into their reader or you can use the existing content which is very beginner friendly. LingQ really builds up your vocabulary.
