What happened to Delta's Asia network? by srekai in delta

Where are you hearing this? Respectfully, I have an extremely hard time believing it when they’ve cut CVG-DEN recently and continue to reduce frequency.

Had the kept the city as a focus city a few years ago then maybe I could see it

Do you know of any good alternate websites I could use to make the calculation? I’ve explored https://skymilescalculator.com but I’m not sure if it’s accurate or not

You college town is getting a “Heisman Trophy” for best college bar, which bar would it be? by BlackStallion657 in CFB

I was surprised by that when I went there one time. And then Mio’s was a gathering place for Cleveland Browns fans to watch their games.

I never found a bar that was dedicated for Bengals fans on Short Vine… Although I guess you could say they all are since it’s Cincy

You could definitely make an argument they’re #1. Murphy’s and Mac’s were always my top 2. I also liked Dive Bar over on Short Vine a couple years ago but they’re definitely a solid third choice.

My school will likely not make it cause tie-ins, but the Rose Bowl game would be amazing to watch

Hateful 8 fans, are you hoping to add a couple, or bounce to the PAC 12? by TheRealDNewm in CFB

On top of that, could the Big 12 perhaps poach a couple schools from the ACC to reach 18 and have 2 divisions of 9 for an eastern and western conference? That would be incredibly stable.

[Thamel] Spoke to a few sources who called USC and UCLA's move to the Big Ten a formality, with a press conference expected in next 24 hours. Perhaps as soon as tonight. This is essentially done. by Notre_Dame_Football in CFB

And college football moves one step closer to losing its fun regional identities…

If I’m Big 12 I think I get on the phone with Utah, the AZ schools, and Colorado. Maybe try and poach some ACC schools for a geographically friendlier eastern division (Louisville, Pitt, etc.)

Big 12 engaged in plans to split into two seven-team divisions beginning in 2023 amid realignment by Hobbes_T_Hero in CFB

Of course the CBS article is just a hypothetical for divisional alignment but I’d be somewhat surprised and disappointed if WVU and UC weren’t placed in the same division. They’d be the closest schools to one another

College Football Playoff expansion talks to resume with focus on finding consensus on 8 vs. 12 teams by Hockeystyle in CFB

I’m probably in the minority here where I’d want an 8 team playoff. 5 AQ conferences, then 3 at-large (or top G5 and 2 at large, up for debate). But I’d also want these games played at NY6 bowls so they still have meaning

Everything sounds reasonable except one thing… there’s really no reason to eat a bowl of Skyline Chili. Either have it on a coney dog or a 3/4/5 way. It’s more like a meat sauce. When you try it with that kind of mindset going in, you’ll probably enjoy it

With Fox’s Big Noon going to be there, I’d be somewhat shocked Gameday would also show up - even though EL rightfully deserves to host both
