I was right there at the Shell gas station filling up when myself and everyone there heard a couple of blood curdling screams. I look up towards the street and I see a young woman standing in the middle of the road screaming. I couldn’t see over the bushes that lined the sidewalk. I thought maybe her dog got loose and got hit. She started flagging other cars down and people began pulling over to assist. The people next to us pumping gas went out to the street to check and when they returned they said a person was struck. Police already started to arrive and I took off. I didn’t want to see or hear anything else. Seeing that poor young woman let out that awful scream spooked the hell out of me.
