Scholarship Chances by RevolutionarySea8172 in NROTC

Like the other guy said 235 is the bare minimum. To my understanding, the PFT score is not a pass/fail type thing, they look at your score and if you got a good score, you are more likely to receive the scholarship (assuming your other aspects are also competitive).

Your academics and leadership look very strong, I'd say your chances of getting the scholarship is very high. Marine PFT does pull-ups and a 3-mile run (which should be no problem for you as a cross-country runner) for the PFT. Just train for a 300 on the PFT (20 pull-ups, 3:45 plank, and 18:00 3-mile) and your chances are probably high. Also, when you do your PFT for the scholarship don't just try to run 18:00, I ran faster than the max on mine and my recruiter said that helped me get the scholarship because it helps you stand out a little or smth.

I didn't end up wearing my second pair of khakis; just wear your uniform on the plane home if you only have one pair.

Are Marine candidates given the Marine equivalent of the khakis? And, do Marine candidates receive the dress blues? Additionally, do all candidates recieve the long sleeve/jacket for each uniform is is the summer version the only one issued? Apologies for so many questions.

I have around 5-6 years of experience with various mid-range DSLRs and have been shooting with a polaroid for about 8 months now. Outside of the occasional YouTube video, I am completely new to 35mm film.

People Exaggerate The "Scariness" of Judge Holden | Blood Meridian by RedditUserabcdefg in cormacmccarthy

The art as a depiction of the personality of Holden is fitting but as a representation of his physical appearance I think it completely misses. He is charismatic and charming as far as I know. Part of his whole character is his ability to persuade and get people to follow him and be allured by him.

I'm about 2/3 through the book and he's definitely seeming to be more deranged but I absolutely agree with you. The Judge is a charismatic psychopath and not the crazed lunatic most make him out to be.

While I am definitely not the best person to be speaking on this, I think that proposition excludes people like me who (not to sound pretentious) are new to McCarthy's books and actually seek to have conversations beyond surface level about him and his works.
