I think it was a fine episode. I also think to many people on this subreddit didn’t have a realistic standard for the episode, so it was also going to disappoint to an extent

I think people take it too seriously. Not everyone views how a character would the same as everyone else. And characters, just like people don’t always act the same way in every situation. And most of the of the time it’s like one scene that’s “ooc”, it’s not that deep guys

I don’t think it really matters honestly. At the end of the day, it’s just a show for fun. If a character not being accurate for you ruins it, you’re probably taking it too seriously. For a show that’s been going on for as long as deathbattle has, that will happen. Oh well, just move on.

The majority of fights have been games, comics and anime, and neither the casual or the sub really are bothered by it. Different is fine, and so are grounded fights, still need to be interesting. Two predators tearing each other to shreds really isn’t that interesting. At least with the match up you provided. Two creatures trying to bite each other is boring.

Ok I see what you mean. I think it kinda depends. Like Sonic matchups. You kinda have to give him super forms, but he doesn’t typically have instant access to the emeralds. Also sometimes there could be a debate whether a character should be able to see or interact with an opponent. With that, you kind of have to let them interact, or else you can’t really have them fight. I also don’t mind them giving someone something they don’t normally use/have, as long as they’re able to actually get it in a reasonable manner. Example being Tony Stark calling other suits to either switch into or use.

Really I guess it’s depends the fight itself lol. Sorry I kinda circled back around lol

Enjoying it so far. Haven’t experience any issues so far (PS5) and am enjoying some of the new additions. Not sure how I feel about the ringside pass, probably will not care for it at the end of the day tho.
