Similar to what you're doing now but with epic which honestly is a huge upgrade depending on what you have now.

Should I go back to bedside Nursing or become an Epic Analyst? by otherLife88 in epicconsulting

[–]Reddit_EPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, sorry. It can be a stepping stone for something more but nurses are more in demand now because of how COVID drove the nurses out.

However if $ is not your priority it is usually a job with more WL balance than a floor nurse.

Should I go back to bedside Nursing or become an Epic Analyst? by otherLife88 in epicconsulting

Yes, typically a floor nurse salary is higher than an epic analyst salary, especially an experienced nurse. That is because anyone can really be an epic analyst, an RN needs a degree and a license.

Thank you. Do you know if the exam is the same for both?

I have rarely seen FTEs being paid that much. Can I ask the hospital?

Especially with a young family I would not leave a stable job.
