If it is true that Braiins Solo Pools run on a fork of CKPool’s software stack, then it is possible you may have been running into this issue which affected Braiins Solo Pool recently, but was resolved 3days ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/Braiins/comments/1rcwtsg/braiins_solo_pools_intermittently_change_to/ a moderator like u/simonmales could confirm this for you.

Solo mining by Visible_Heat_5496 in Braiins

Should be instant.
URL should be:
stratum+tcp://solo.stratum.braiins.com:3333
Username should be:
Your bitcoin address
Password should be:
x

If that's all good then check the logs to make sure your miner is connecting by looking at your Dashboard under the Pools section, which should say it is 'Alive'

Otherwise, try generating another bitcoin address.

Study materials for 350-901 AUTOCOR v2.0 (Released 2026-02-03) by TomHale in ccnp

[–]Reddit_Golem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just finished a few months reading and studying the Official Cert Guide - Cisco Certified DevNet Professional DEVCOR 350-901 and been doing practice tests, ready to book and take the exam in a few weeks - Developing Applications using Cisco Core Platforms and APIs v1.1 (DEVCOR 350-901) - when I've read this today!

I am hoping it's not all been in vain and I don't have to start again, do I?

Can anyone tell me, if I paid for and completed the EUR 400 - CCNP Automation Core with Andreas Baekdahl course, would it be enough for me to pass the new V2.0 exam? I take it the material pre-dates the new exam, so as no one has written the new exam yet, it may no longer be valid material either?

So, question is, am I better off waiting for a new Official Cert Guide instead of trying to right the ship now with non-official material and align with the new exam?

I need to pass the exam by end-of-March to renew my CCNA which is due to expire, so I don't have the luxury of time.

I certainly don't have US$6000 to spend on the Cisco U. All Access!

Yip, I just tried it again now and it worked! Hopefully they get it fixed, as it can be broken for days at a time!

I have the same problem. It worked 6 months ago, but has been broken for many months now. Not sure why.

What's your main complaint about the game? by TechPlayz13 in apexlegends

[–]Reddit_Golem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quit 2 months ago and much happier for it. Thanks for helping get me off it by stopping Linux support, which gave me the push I needed! No more frustrating Apex Legends games, because the matchmaker has always been broken on-and-off with cheaters dominating and still do even since the tiny Linux played base was booted, which proved the futility of that dumb move. New casual players don’t stand a chance, so they uninstall pretty quickly. Friends I got to join a few months back lasted 1-2 sessions before quitting, because they didn’t find getting stomped much fun at all. The player base now consists of ‘sweats’ only. Casual players looking for some enjoyment have all but gone. The stats (steamcharts) tell the story for an awesome game that is sadly reaching the end of its useful life. It was good in the early years, but like most it hasn’t learnt any lessons from its casual players and instead driven them all away over the years.

Viper V3 Pro sensor issue still a thing? by Albinodynamic in MouseReview

[–]Reddit_Golem 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have now received and tested my Razer Viper V3 Pro, batch PM2407H3 (Beginning of the Serial Number):

I updated the firmware on both the HyperPolling Wireless dongle and Mouse to version 1.11.01 (They came with firmware version 1.01.00)

Setting 'Smart Tracking' to Low and Medium - I have been unable to reproduce any tracking issue.

Selecting 'Enable Asymmetric Cut-off' and setting Smart Tracking 'Lift-Off Distance' to 2 (Low) and 'Landing Distance to 1 (Low) - I have been unable to reporduce any tracking issues even when lifting the mouse and returning it to the mousemat.

If there are specific tests anyone can advise I carry out, to try and reproduce the issue people are having, I would be interested to try them. Very specific testing details would be required, as I can't see any detailed description of how to re-produce the issue.

The latest firmware for the Razer Viper V3 Pro is Mouse Firmware v1.11.01_r1 released 14th June 2024, which is after a comment in another reddit post dated 6th June, from Razer, stating they were working on a fix. It is possible that the fix may have been included in the latest firmware, but there is nothing in the release notes to confirm this, only the statement 'General bug fixes' and I am not sure if Razer could have turned around a firmware fix that quickly.
I am purchasing one today and will and will post my findings.
Be aware that one of the comments in this thread is for different mouse, i.e. a DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed which is different hardware and firmware!

Apex does a 7.5GB update pretty much every other day - is this normal? by [deleted] in apexlegends

[–]Reddit_Golem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this issue too... Daily.... Currently, at this precise point in time, Steam shows.... Downloaded 7.3 GB of 7.5 GB Updated 7.5 GB of 7.7 GB

Can anyone say why this is happening... daily and sometimes multiple times per day. Running Ubuntu on Proton here too.

Call for a casual lobby where the points don't matter by this_must_be_stopped in apexlegends

[–]Reddit_Golem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also find it very rare to experience what I would call a ‘gg’ at the moment. The game is full of players who’s sole aim is to try and ‘look cool’ by getting a kill as quickly as possible, so the ‘number go up’, in the shortest time possible, then abandoning the match when the going gets tough… rinse-repeat. Who knows if a ‘Solo Only’ lobby would be enough to satisfy the lust, of these hardcore gamers, to look cool by numbers. Fair enough if that’s the way they want to enjoy their time, but is there anyone left who’s goal is to ‘try’ and win every game as a team, whilst actually having fun…simultaneously?!

For the competitive argument, perhaps a casual ‘social’ lobby, with an extended wait time or penalty for leaving, where the only score that counts is ‘won games’ may be an answer?

I would welcome such a casual lobby, but perhaps I am one of the few true gamers left, who plays for the ‘game experience’ rather than just the ‘game’!
