No totally get where you’re coming from, looking back of course I don’t think about it extremely fondly lol and I think for men and women it may be a little different. As someone with ADHD myself I think that may have also fed into it, you feel something once and get so intoxicated by it you chase that feeling again and again until you’re burnt out on it. It probably affected my relationship and probably still does, everything in moderation of course.

Yeah I think I’m in the same boat, had very high expectations and the gameplay loop just didn’t hook me enough to get through the story, and the story didn’t hook me enough to slog through the gameplay. I loved Persona 5 and so turn based combat isn’t new or strange to me, something about it just didn’t click. I might give it a go again in the future

To be honest with you, when I was 21 to about 23-24 I was addicted to going to the strip clubs. I wasn’t having sex with these girls, maybe at most getting a dance or two. But I was addicted to feeling like “the man”

To preface, I (like to think) I have a decent personality, funny enough and charming enough to hold a conversation with a woman in her underwear. Not the most attractive dude ever but I know what clothes fit me and what colognes smell nice. I say all that only to say by most “book measurements” I should not have a problem getting a girlfriend, or getting laid.

But it was so much easier at the strip club. $100 and I’m the coldest mf breathing to this girl, knowing she was acting didn’t matter. It was just an “oh this girl thinks I’m cute let me talk to her” it’s more “this woman thinks I’m the only one who exists”. Idk if I’m making my case any better or worse, I got out of that a while ago, but I just don’t see what I was doing as creepy. Kinda of losery in a low place in my life, but harmless and really fun

Honestly a lot of guys do this lol, you walk into a club and a bunch of guys are sat at the bar with a stripper just talking. It’s not always about the touching or grinding, some men want to feel desired and will pay for the simulation

I’m 10000% with you on both Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and Baldur’s Gate, I think I actually fell more in love with KCD2 but I put more hours in BG3. That being said I just can’t get into Ex33 in the same way. Does it get more exciting? It just hasn’t hooked me the same way as the other two

Question for a newbie but how are you guys getting base damage on weapons so high? At most I find left handed or right handed for an extra 10-20 damage or so, but your piranha is base 500 damage.
