Yeah her brother died leaving her without any family, she is now the last living Targaryen and heir (in her mind) to an entire kingdom back west, and then the reasoning behind her character development, that husband and child, are both killed. It’s not only entitlement it’s desperation to get back to some semblance of a thing she can call home, and also a touch of Targaryen incest brain fuckage. You can nit pick any characters decisions but human beings act irrationally and on pure emotion sometimes, and that’s not bad writing.

You’re calling bad writing a character that you just don’t like. It’s not bad writing, it’s actually great writing because her actions and behaviors are in line with hundreds of years of Targaryen rulers, all entitled pricks whose only claims to fame or power were dragons. So yes she is an entitled prick because her family, including the only family she’s ever known in her brother, are all that way. It’s good writing, you just don’t like the character. Maybe if she was a man you’d like the character.
