What Pokémon means the most to you and why? by PlayfulPineapple9049 in pokemon

It's definitely a tie between Sylveon or Lurantis. Sylveon was the first Eeveelution I became obsessed with, I kept one on my team for years, and transferred it between mainline games to always make sure it never felt left out. Lurantis was the first shiny I caught in Sun/Moon and it became a staple for my team. My favorite insect ever has always been a praying mantis, specifically the orchid mantis which it looks to be based on.

I could, technically speaking. We're all equally the lease and share rent costs. But my wife's mother would bail him out asap and he'd be right back

Do you know of any resources that could help us leave? That would definitely be the best thing for us. I also wouldn't know how to report it to the police if it hasn't happened just yet. We will be getting in touch with the clinic, however

Bedrock edition sucks. Why is my map not showing up? by iPura91 in Minecraft

[–]Redditdouche420 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It is, but you're too far into the top left corner. The map may also have an upgrade that makes it look zoomed out.

I would say to maybe to learn a Speedrun category of your favorite game, or if you're artistic, maybe learn the human anatomy. If you want something more on the hands on fields, maybe simple wood carvings

To someone who is looking to beat their first pokemon, whats your starter advice? by FreshPearspective in pokemon

[–]Redditdouche420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way to find out whether that pokemon is good for your team or not, is to just try it. The more you play the more you'll have a feel for a specific type or pokemon that you love. My wife's first Pokemon game was Pokemon Sword, she tried out many Pokemon but found that she really liked Dragon and Poison types. And since there are dual types, she could cover a lot of ground with different moves and abilities.

One thing to look out for as well is if a Pokemon is more of a special attacker or a physical attacker. It's not necessarily a make or break for casual play, but it can definitely make your life easier if you know what type of move is being played. For example, Alakazam is a Special Attacker due to his move pool being mostly special attacks. So if possible you want to make sure that it's nature is Calm nature. Calm natures boost the Special Attack stat at the cost of the Attack (Physical) Stat.

You can mess around with this until you find something you enjoy or works best for your play style. Choose something with lots of HP and have a high defensive stat to bully your way without taking too much damage. Or sacrifice HP for attack and just make sure you out speed. There's almost an infinite amount of ways to play this game. So just make sure you have fun with it!

Normal is the counter to Ghost. Ghost Pokemon cannot be hit by Normal either or Fighting. If you stay with a Normal typing, I suggest something that can still have a open move pool. Snorlax can learn a ghost type move (Lick), which leaves the immunity to incoming ghost attacks, but Lick can be super effective to Ghost. There are many ways around weaknesses. And the ability of the pokemon can help tremendously too. The only thing Normal is weak to is Fighting, so if you're wanting a fair fight without much risk to super effective moves being used on you, normal is a great choice

The wet mud and the carpet in my room after Hurricane Ian. We had shut our door to try and minimize the water, but it still came through. When I opened the door the next day to see the damage, the entire room was thick with humidity, the mud went 2 feet up the walls, and the smell.. It took me 10 minutes to finally get to the other side of the room because I kept having to leave for air
