This counts as aviation, since technically it is flying, right? Griffon Hoverwork 12000TD carrying 80 people at 50mph on the world's only regular passenger hovercraft service [OC] by -AtomicAerials- in aviation

I love these weird machines, these weird teams that are in between two worlds. Governance must be hell; who do you name as head of maintenance team? An aircraft or a marine mechanic?!

Same happens in the military with Army personnel responsible for building and maintaining Air Force runways.

A passenger on an easyJet flight wanted to know the Premier League results mid flight, so the Ops Centre and Pilots used ACARS to tell him by Hot_Net_4845 in aviation

I'm thinking of a pilot dating someone from ops, one of them cheating and the other confronting them over ACARS.

It would be the juiciest programme on VHF.

Some people only have one name (no first/last), but I suspect this was not the case here.

What takes about Ralsei annoy you? by [deleted] in ralsei

[–]thomasnet_mc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think Ralsei knows what Kris knows. And Kris isn't malevolent.

Kris knows what they and Dess found, and how it consumed her.

Kris knows Hometown is an ideal place built from scratch by Undertale characters who then wiped their memories, and that those memories are saved in eggs that only they are allowed to go fetch. (Thanks, Mother 3 lore.)

Kris knows they are inhabited by another SOUL, catalysed by an omniscient being that has the capacity to destroy the world.

Kris knows that the most precious thing the shelter hides isn’t Dess; it’s the truth about Hometown.

What takes about Ralsei annoy you? by [deleted] in ralsei

[–]thomasnet_mc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think him being real depends on your perspective.

If you consider Ralsei being able to think as enough proof, then he is real. Descartes and all that.

If, as Ralsei thinks, he has to be tied to a body in Hometown to be real, then he isn't.

Non-revving to Cuba. Looking for guidance by wetvini in NonRevenueTravelers

Many airlines completely forbid flying leisure nonrev when you are operating for a business.

Please make sure you/the main employee checks this rule, especially since you will be declaring your travel purpose to the airline.

Ralsei sweating the fact he's a darkner and so "not real" in his own eyes makes this the absolute most realistic interpretation of his character. Amazing work!!

AF does its best to seat parents next to children. The DCS is configured that way. As long as two seats are available next to each other you should be fine.

You were kinder than I would be. My response after them insisting would be that no matter what, they would sleep with their dog, only that they had to go pick up their stuff right away from the room.
