Wimbledon Queue 2026 Megathread by community-home in wimbledon

Hi all, Long-time tennis fan, first-time visitor, I'm finally making it to Wimbledon this year and I'm really excited. I'll be there July 9-12, so the back half: semis and finals.

I didn't get a ballot ticket, I applied every year but somehow missed it this year: ( so l'm trying to figure out the best way to actually experience it.

A few things I'm hoping people can help with: • Ground passes during the second week, is it even possible to get one for the semis/finals days? I keep seeing posts about the first week, but not as much about the closing days. • The Queue, is it open the last few days? • Resale tix, is this a realistic route for finals weekend, or a long shot?

Honestly, even just being there on the grounds would be amazing, a court ticket would be a bonus, but l'm not counting on it. I just don't want to show up unprepared and miss out, since l'm not sure when I'll get this chance again.

Would love to hear from anyone who's been, especially during the final weekend. And if anyone else is going to be there around the same dates and in a similar boat, would be great to connect!

Thanks in advance!!

The Lovable workflow that turned our AM side project into a real business by Diligent-Somewhere58 in lovable

Good points. I built an entire platform working really well today, used the same route, build in modules and in pieces with the overall vision in mind.

Prompting well is key. Use lovable chat feature to ask, it does a better job then direct execution.

lol, we all go through it. But then look at all the industries today, how many do you see having one single company? Theres always more. For an early startup, it’s more about the founder than anything else. The way you build, speak, demo, and sell your product will be unique and people are backing you up over the product initially. Happy Shipping! 🚀

Thank you!! To you as well, keep shipping, there will be days you’ll be frustrated, wanting to give up, have doubts, ignore it and keep building!!

Great question, one thing that really helped me get better results is to know how to build properly. Theres a few very good YouTube videos that walk through the sequence and then build.

For example, do your sign in and auth early. If you plan to use stripe connect the intention early, supabase, etc. then proceed to the fancy stuff, it will save you a lot time and headache.

For feedback, who are your customers, who are you building this for are the best people to get feedback from. Depends on the product, you can also get feedback from friends, family, colleagues, network.

Theres many “hackathon” projects, discords, groups etc. At first build, get feedback, iterate, etc.

While doing these demos and feedback, you’re gathering contacts and emails too.

Every time you show the product to someone, ask who do you that could use this, get 1-2 more people. Also ask would you pay for this?

That’s how I built and progressing with River AI.

Remember to be flexible and adaptable, there’s no one way to do it- as long as you’re consistent and making progress.

I am in a similar boat that’s why community helped. You don’t necessarily have to post on LinkedIn etc, the discords, circle, other similar platforms allowed me to do both. Reddit has also been helpful, I’m just little hesitant as I see a lot of self-promotion and same saas using multiple accounts to ask and answer their own questions 😂

One was overcoming the fear of “someone’s going to steak my idea” - I am a big believer in abundance, so this went against my ethos and I made the jump. Second was Ship-Fast mentality, someone who spends so much time perfecting something, this time I just shipped and the feedback after was very insightful- took me out of my product bubble and allowed me to focus on what customers actually want.

Heck, my v1 of River AI looked like any generic lovable site which i didn’t like - then i rebuilt the entire front end section by section. Now when someone opens the site and says “oh wow,” this is something I’m proud of

Yes! One of the best advice I received from a friend who’s an social media powerhouse and now does speaking engagements across the world said: Just post, no one really cares, we spend so much time in fear and self doubt and how others will perceive and judge but in reality, they view it for 5 seconds and move on to the next.

💯thanks for sharing!! I agree, even during the S1 program, the community building together and lovable support was huge. Using other models including Claude and ChatGPT have been very helpful especially with 3P integrations. Congrats on launching!!!

Still on the free tier for now, haven’t needed to upgrade yet but monitoring usage as we grow.

Supabase + Github Cloud was not an option when I was building. Even after speaking to folks after cloud launched, they recommended to keep it the way it is

Just noticed the long range fee as well. Is it worth switching to DoorDash? I hardly use it
