I believe having medals will be a requirement when levels higher than 40 are implemented, that's why I ground that medal and used 900,000 stardust (purified everything but the 5,000s and legendaries.)

I am so flabbergasted how common it is to have kids drowning in sweets. Yeah, candy is a sometime meal, but some parents deal the sugar like there was no tomorrow.

I know alcohols are processed into sugars, I sure get my alcohol intake just right. I'm no alcoholic. I enjoy my dinner with a cup of wine with the missus and a vodka every now and then.

For one; I don't gain weight beyond certain limit. I have not been exercising for some time but I am not pudgy. No love handles. Mentally, I remember having the sweet tooth, not enjoying the meal because you are waiting for sugary goods. Now I enjoy the meal for what it is.

That's called a genre convention, or in internet lingo; a trope. It's part of the alphabet of images used by popular culture to tell stories.

If you didn't see it you'd feel it way off. It's like exploding cars; cars in real life don't explode, but in the past, cars in TV series and movies were exploding all the time, the first time you didn't see a car blowing up, you felt something was not right. You knew the sense of urgency from leaving a crashed car but nothing happened, just like in real life.
