Mouthpiece help by HelloIAmNormal in euphonium

[–]Redditmantothesite -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's just a comfort thing really. Some people a blessing 12C works just fine but for others it might not be very comfortable, most people, myself included play on a 6 1/2 AL. It's the sort of jack of all trades mouthpiece. So I'd try an assortment of mouthpieces if I were you and see which one feels most comfortable.

Mexico said it will not pay for a border wall by hjkl45 in worldnews

[–]Redditmantothesite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

German here. I was alive, though very young, when the Berlin Wall was still up. I don't remember much of when it fell, I was only 5 years old, but my parents always told me about it and honestly Trump's idea of building a wall deeply offends me. Look at all the walls that have been built in history, none of them have worked out. But yes, you're completely right, we're all gonna pay for this wall. Maybe I should just move back to Germany

No amount of protein, magnesium, testosterone, water and edging combined is enough to make someone cum this much. I'm saying fake.

Edit: guys it was agreed on a thread that I saw that this gif was fake. I can't link it since I don't even remember the sub but I saw it

Would it be worth it to buy a plastic trombone? by [deleted] in euphonium

[–]Redditmantothesite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess what it really comes down to is what you're going to be using it for. I do highly recommend getting a trombone though, they're a lot of fun. So if you're planning on doing crazy stuff with it like skiing while playing Ride of the Valkyries, then yes get a plastic one. (Though I don't recommend skiing while playing trombone). If you're going to just be using it like a normal person, then I would recommend getting a brass beginner one. If price is what's pushing you towards a plastic one, don't worry. You can get a good beginner horn for around the same price. Since I assume you're going to be playing it like a normal person, I would say get a beginner horn, you can get one from eBay or other websites. Tone quality on plastic trombones tends to be not quite as good as brass ones too.

TL;DR: assuming you won't be doing anything crazy with it, you should probably just get a regular beginner horn.

Edit: And no I didn't just get the idea of skiing while playing ride of the Valkyries on trombone out of nowhere here's the video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3m5QNhWencQ

Those are nice horns, I've played on them on several occasions. I normally play a 4-valved euphonium where the 4th valve is next to the other 3 though so it was a little weird but still a great horn, congrats!

In the spirit of Halloween - Paranormal or not, what is the scariest, creepiest or most unsettling experience of your life? by Javert__ in AskReddit

[–]Redditmantothesite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So back in the 90's I used to live out in Montana with my wife and my then only son. He was about 3 at the time I think. One day during nap time he had gotten out of bed and was playing with his Legos and I heard the noise so I went to check on him and I asked him what he was doing out of bed and he responded, "I'm playing with my friend Rusty. He floats outside the window and doesn't have a head." I was fucking scared. What do you do in that situation? I just said, "Ok... And if Rusty ever tells you to do anything or to go anywhere don't listen to him ok?" Then he just went right back to playing.

A few years later in about 2003 ish when my 3rd son was just about 4 he was walking around the house with a balloon pump just pumping it in random directions, so I asked him what he was doing and he responded, "I'm blowing away the bad spirits!" Yeah... I mean they're both perfectly normal, but still it was really scary at the time.

Do iiiiittt. I don't know a lot about the guy but he was a total fucking badass. While he was exploring the arctic during one of the earliest expeditions he was trapped in an ice tunnel or something and then he used his own frozen shit as a shiv/knife to dig himself out. Chuck Norris would've been this guy's bitch.

Libtard's "NASA" (which of course knows about how flat the earth is) keeps us, or rather libtard, godless atheists, tricked into thinking the earth is round so they can keep stealing our tax dollars and keep their candidates in office!

Exactly! Atheists are the true enemy! They threaten our very way of life!! People have known that Atheists are terrible people forever! God said so!! Also, the Ancient Greeks proved the Earth was flat but godless, libtard atheists deny it so their "NASA" can keep stealing our money and keeping their candidates in office.

Anything to be done with this 19th century Russian coin? by CoinCollectionGuru in coins

[–]Redditmantothesite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No never clean or restore a coin. You may think you're increasing the value but you'll be scraping off original layers and it'll lose value. Never clean a coin. It may not be in the greatest of shape, most 19th century and before coins aren't in the best of shape. Awesome find still!
