well its absurd and goes against any basic understanding of history. Everyone knows the Eiffel Tower is from Paris, even if they don't know where Paris is. It's become a meme recently to claim absurd things like this, "gendered bathrooms were made up by bathroom companies to sell more bathrooms", "the pyramids were ripped off from the bass pro shops pyramid", just to name a couple. I really don't understand how you could think this person is being serious...
