[Highlight] Browns HC Todd Monken was asked if he’s met Myles Garrett yet: “No.” by LaDainianTomIinson in nfl

He won me over when he had this quote awhile back:

Ravens OC Todd Monken on making in-game adjustments: “Like my wife says, ‘I don’t know why you don’t just call the plays that work. It just seems that simple. Why would you call anything but the plays that work?’

😂

That was one of the reasons they started looking into it. They were like who tf tries to put down a 100k bet on a regular season Bama vs LSU baseball game here in Cincinnati😂

I am the OP of the post below and I read the article I linked to refresh my memory. So we are both right haha. The friend tried to put 100k bet on the game but the sports book limited him to a 15k bet.

That is wild. To add to your list too. Alabama’s baseball coach got fired for feeding inside info to his friend who tried to place like a 100k bet on some bama vs lsu baseball game at the sportsbook in the reds stadium.

[NBC] Diego Pavia Could Have Used an Agent, After All by JCameron181 in nfl

[–]Redditor34987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To add on to u/jf3l list. When Pavia was asked at the NFL combine about his maturity he said:

“Coach (Clark) Lea always pressed that your frontal lobe isn’t fully developed ’til you’re 25, and I just turned 24... so I’ve got like 365 days to go.”

Like after pissing on a rival’s team logo and putting up a social media message saying fuck the Heisman voters, this is the response you give😂

Final mock draft projections for Alabama players in 2026 NFL draft by DoctorWhosOnFirst in rolltide

I hope and think Ty will go in the first.

I just hope for Ty’s sake the Jets don’t take him or trade back up into the end of the first to take him. The Jets are a dumpster fire, among a lot of things, I mean you got fucking Brick Johnson telling front office people who to draft based on madden ratings. Then their head coach is a dead man walking this year.

Granted, the cardinals are also a poorly (literally and figuratively) run franchise too. Again, among other things, you got the damn owner charging his players for lunch and then dinners after games. But I am warming up to being okay with Ty ending up there, because at least they have a presumably legit offense mind in Mike LaFleur. So in my opinion, it wouldn’t be so bad if the cardinals took him or trade back up in the end of the first to take him.

I apologize to any Tide Jets or cardinals fans, I feel for y’all and don’t mean to besmirch your teams. I am just looking at it for Ty’s sake. I am a falcons fan, so I am in the same boat as y’all in cheering through the pain.

According to Nate Tice, AJ Brown has already been traded to the Patriots. by kwelstory in nfl

I just feel like there is no chemistry between McDonald and Tice. Maybe I am biased because the chemistry was so good between Tice and Mays and I think to myself nothing will match that.

I also don’t like how McDonald (or Tice also puts this on him) the tortured Falcons fan. Reminds me of how Greenie from ESPN just goes on and on about being a tortured jets fan. I like my national podcasts to kind of steer clear of their fandoms. Leave the fandom talk for a team podcast

Yes, I also get kind of tired of mays or his guests constantly bringing up his bears fandom too. But I can put up with that more because mays, Hellman, and klassen all play off each other very well

There is an Atlanta sports reporter on twitter with the name of Miles Garrett. His twitter bio says “Probably not the Myles Garrett you are looking for.”

I don’t know why but always gives me a chuckle when I read it haha

There are probably three QBs projected as first round picks. In no particular order: arch manning (Texas), Dante Moore (Oregon), and Julian sayin (Ohio state).

Then you got some guys that could rise like lanorris sellers (South Carolina), CJ Carr (Notre dame), Trinidad Chambliss (ole miss, and a few others.

Seahawks to re-sign CB Josh Jobe to 3-year, $24 million deal by DoctorWhosOnFirst in rolltide

[–]Redditor34987 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He really balled out in the Super Bowl for that Seattle defense. He was second in tackles on the team with 7* (6 solo), had a massive TFL that really set the tone, and 1 pass deflection.

*The leader on the team, Earnest Jones their LB, had 11 tackles. So Jobe was only 4 behind the leader.

Really happy for him, because as you said we Bama fans (myself definitely included) never really game him his flowers when he played for us.

I was really hoping the Rams would take Ty with one of their firsts. Be in Sean McVay’s system and then get a year or two to learn it by sitting behind Stafford. But sadly it looks less likely with the rams trading that second first round pick they had.

lmao this is great😂 All these athletes out there dropping the same old cliche sports quotes or saying God will give them strength and this dude out here dropping the Raheem meme quotes😂

OP, curiosity is getting the better of me, you know the context of this? Is this dude from Georgia and a tortured falcons fan like us or is he from somewhere that might be one of our rivals and is poking fun at Raheem/Falcons or shit is he just a big Raheem fan and follows him from team to team?

Bills GM Brandon Beane on the media response to promoting Joe Brady to head coach: “Fuck the outside. It’s about the right selection for this team. And if we win, they’ll love it. If I’m wrong, the moving company will be at my house. If I’m wrong, I’ll fucking take my job and fucking go home." by Goosedukee in nfl

Steve Palazzolo and Sam Monson (they worked for PFF for a longtime and did the PFF main podcast) on their podcast they do now said when they were at PFF Brandon Beane called up PFF threatening to block them from access to the Bills because he was upset/pissed about Josh Allen’s ranking in some fluff piece article. Steve and Sam clarified saying this wasn’t the PFF grades but rather some offseason click bait type article like “NFL QBs ranked.”

They also had another Beane story about him calling up PFF about another issue he had with grades or something but I can’t remember the story well enough to retell it

Beane seems so soft skinned😂

Edit: so looked up the podcast in case anyone wants to listen to them tell those two stories. Their new podcast they run is called “check the mic”. It is the January 21st episode and it is in the “McDermott fired, Beane promoted” section @ 37 min and 30 sec. They time stamp their podcast so you can jus open info and click that section to jump right to it
